Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
ALONSO NUMBER 1 very happy at camp wingard tonight, except for webber being out (btw what happened)
Raikonnen number 2, very very happy with favourite drivers going 1 and 2
very close but great effort for Hamilton with the final step on the podium, especially seeing it kicks Vettel of (still grumble grumble about ast race)
so what happened with the 4 that were out? missed the first 36 laps (not happy)

Webber
Webber broke the front wing of his Red Bull and damaged the car's rear right wheel after hitting Toro Rosso's Jean-Eric Vergne 17 laps into Sunday's 56-lap race.
He was on his way back to the pits when the broken wheel fell off and rolled across the track at Shanghai International Circuit.
Nico
Broken dumper
Sutli
Got rear ended by Subar rookie

No doubt the fanboys in F1 will be glad hes going, but he's just made the best decision ever, if a couple of years too late.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
It seems that Mark Webber is the unluckiest man in the world right now.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/22142979
Whatever is happening, people seem to be defacating on him from a great height, and essentially Mark should dump F1 PRONTO, stick your cans of red bull up your arse, and storm out of that kids show with his head held high.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
I kinda think he deserved that penalty. He was in no place to perform a successful overtake & a driver with his experience should of foreseen what was about to happen.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Gutierrez and Perez are really not impressing right now, McLaren must be wondering why they didn't go for the Hulk, who yet again lead a race.
Williams yet again way off the pace just around 6 seconds from being lapped.
Di Resta again proved that hes good at scoring points doing his best to get a top seat for 2014.
Ill be honest I don't know how Ricciardo got 7th, didn't see much of him till the end of the race.
Raikkonen was lucky not to ruin his front tires with his wing damage but not changing the wing ment the difference between 2nd and 4th.

Agreed.
The anti RedBull conspiracy theorists will say that was team orders by the Tora Rosso driver though... allowing Webber to see an inside line then slam the door shut. I have yet to look at Ten Tenths, but I am pretty sure that someone has posted that.
Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
This happens every year.
Off-season, excitement builds. Start watching videos of seasons past, start getting pumped up for a new season of F1.
Then by Bahrain I've become disillusioned and sick of F1. Typical.

Bahrain is so boring that even V8 Supercars were boring there.
Just another generic sterile track in a part of the world with few race fans.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Bahrain is like a replay of China and Malaysia... all of Tilke designed tracks have the same feel.
Good for US that COTA was designed by Tavo Helmund, and all Tilke's crew did was design run-off and pit areas.

Well I like it. Its also really fun to drive in the F1 games, except when it rains there on dynamic weather.

Maybe he was testing the water to see if Toro Rosso cars would let him by as easily they do for Vettel?
Maybe if he won a few WDCs, or ever had a legitimate chance at one, they might.

STILL only rumour, Hindhaugh had the nerve to say this over the air at Silverstone, but to be honest all the news STILL is of RUMOUR , much like Soccer player transfer talk, so NOTHING is to be believed yet.

I reckon it'll be between Da Costa and Raikkonen for his seat.
