Track still sucks, but today's race was pretty good. How much of that good was the track and how much was faltering by the top teams remains a mystery. Wink

Every single driver on the grid has bought their way into a drive. No money, no motorsport career. And Checo's turned out to be quite good too, unlike Gaston Mazzacane, who brought plenty of Telefonica money into Minardi in 2000.

Nicky, I believe it was the "PSN" money, who jumped ship from Minardi just before Stoddart rescued them from the brink for a bit. Mazzacane became a Prost driver for a bit, before they realised Luciano Burti had more money.

Telefonica may have played a part, but I think it was more about Marc Gene bringing that particular buck Minardi's way, but then it would have really helped if Fernando Alonso was one of your drivers in 2001...

May I ask why most people absolutely detest Sebastian Vettel?

I mean, he's a triple world champion and on course to become the most successful driver to ever grace the track. He really does have talent & it seems that everyone, including the media, try to slag him off and play down his achievements.

His personality has never really clicked with me. I was the biggest Schuey fan, even when he was winning all the time, but I just can't like Seb. Maybe it's his cringe worthy attempts at humour, or maybe it's the outright lack of respect to his peers, or perhaps it's because we've never actually seen how he fares in a struggling car... Who knows... But he's the 'flatest' character of the bunch.

he's so selfish though, yes he's the number 1 driver in red bull and the whole comp at the moment, but he takes that for granted and expects every race to be handed to him on a platter, and his mojo is begger than his (inappropriate)...
yes i'll admit, he is a great driver, he's very very quick, but he just irritates the hell outa me and exactly what Nicky just said

and feeling for Alonso, had great pace all weekend, but just short of getting pole by half a second, lets hope he can capitalise on the race win
