So championship could get down to India now..
Anyway, Vettel reminds me of the kid from the Toaster's Strudel Commercial

Alonso's Championship hopes are on life support.
Just pull the plug already. It's over.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
He only has to finish 5th in India to win it. People say he makes the sport boring, which he does, but you can hardly expect him to lose races just for our entertainment. Whenever asked the best drivers on the grid, the usual answer is 'Alonso, Hamilton...then Vettel'. Because I think that Vettel won't ever be considered a true legend unless he wins the Championship driving for a different car or one that isn't designed by Adrian Newey.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
the only problem i have with some motorsport, there's always one guy who wins 90% of the time and then people hate them and 'they aren't good'
granted i have done this myself i'll admit it, but you always seem to get it for a few years, even if they don't win the championship, they still dominate most of the time
Schumacher, Vettle, Wincup, Brock, Moffit, Rossi, Pederson, Crump, Senna, the list goes on and it will continue to go on,
unfortunately, it seems to be more in Formula and prototype racing just because of the 'different tiers' of cars (ie redbull, ferrari, McLaren, then Mercedes, Sauber, FI, etc etc) whereas in series like WTCC/BTCC, DTM, V8SC it seems a lot closer racing where, yes there are still dominent teams and cars, but the other cars generally have a good chance too,
I'm not hating on F1 at all, i love it, but yeah

Can't wait for these new turbos!

This does sound really awesome. But after listening to it a couple of times reminds me more of the Honda V12 engine in the back of the McLaren MP4/7 in 1992:BG Beanz wrote:Honda's 2015 F1 engine fired up for the first time:

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Russian Daniil Kvyat will race for the Toro Rosso team next season in a surprise move for the feeder outfit of world champions Red Bull.
The 19-year-old, who competes in GP3, will partner Frenchman Jean-Eric Vergne - retained for a third season.
Kvyat replaces Daniel Ricciardo, who has been promoted to Red Bull to fill the seat vacated by Mark Webber.
Toro Rosso team boss Franz Tost said Kvyat earned his seat with a "strong performance" in a test in in July.
Tost said Kvyat had given "very informative technical feedback" at the young driver test at Silverstone.
“It hurts [not to get the seat] but it's like this. I'm happy for Daniil and that it stays in the Red Bull family”
Antonio Felix Da Costa
Red Bull junior driver programme
"This suggests that the basic qualities from which he can progress are all in place," said Tost.
"Daniil can be sure that we will use all our experience of training youngsters to give him the best possible start to his Formula 1 career."
Kvyat, who is competing in GP3 this season, described his promotion as "fantastic news - a dream come true".
Webber's decision to leave F1 for a new career leading Porsche's endurance racing programme, to be replaced by Australian Ricciardo, has led to a reshuffle in Red Bull's junior driver programme.
The next man in line was Portuguese Antonio Felix Da Costa, who races in the more senior Renault 3.5 category.
But Felix Da Costa has had a mixed season and has been overlooked, raising questions about his future as a Red Bull junior driver.
The company has in the past tended to cut loose drivers whom they considered not to have made the grade, whether that is in F1 or before they make it there.
Da Costa said on his Twitter feed: "It hurts but it's like this. I'm happy for Daniil and that it stays in the Red Bull family."
The next driver in line is now Spaniard Carlos Sainz Jr, who like Kvyat is also competing in GP3 this season and was also at the Silverstone test in July, driving for both Toro Rosso and Red Bull.

This might be a blessing in disguise for Da Costa. He's destined for future F1 success.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
So now that Vettel has done donuts everyone seems to love him!
He's deserved it, he's been phenomenal all year. But what a drive by Romain Grosjean! Don't know what Kimi was thinking when he almost ran into him. If that was the other way round, Raikkonen would be fuming. I believe since being replaced at Ferrari, Massa has shown what a good driver he actually is.
