Nurburgring 8 hours support race idea 1
Aussie Racing Cars
The Aussie Racing Car combines the very best of established racing technology assembled in a superbly engineered package that gives it amazing performance while being controlled in a one-design class where all cars are mechanically identical. The competition is overseen by strictly controlled rules that are easy for competitors to understand and follow.5 different body styles cater to the liking of all tastes. Classic 40 Ford and FJ Holden body style for the nostalgia buffs while Ford Falcon, Holden Commodore and Toyota Aurion replicate the latest model road going Marques…… all cars are approximately half the size of their full sized counterparts. The driver’s skill level is the determining factor for winning contention in Aussie Racing competition as the various performance characteristics of each body style is equalized by a unique system that has been perfected over many seasons of intense competition.
Although it is impossible to build these cars in the game, I have come up with solution. By using the 1969 Nissan Fairlady Z 432 and 1994 Mazda MX-5 Miata, and throwing over 300 HP, 250 ft-lbs of torque and reducing the weight of the cars 2 2000 pounds, I have come close to replicating the cars as closely as I can. The cars have been tested and tweaked to get maximum performance and equal lap times.
Rules: normal TORA driving standards apply.
Race: there will be 3 races with a 20 minute break in between. The first and last race will be on the Nurburgring GP layout with the second being on the Norschleife. The first race will be set to random grid start, while the last two will be set to reverse points, unless there is a lot of people then it will be random for all 3 races. Each race will begin with a rolling start at 60 mph in a 2x2 formation.
No safety cars during each race as they are sprint races.
There will be no mandatory number boxes or logos, as long as your number is clearly visible by other drivers.
