MSA TORA Endurance Championship - Nürburgring 8 Hours
60 cars are to take the challenge of the Ring in December. After the VLN session in November, the N8 is starting to look promising as the final endurance event on the calender. Three classes are lined up for the event; SP1, the fastest of the grid, compromised of GT2 and GT3 race-spec cars, including the Ring legends that are the Mercedes SLS GT3, Porsche 911 GT3 RSR, Audi R8 LMS and BMW Z4 GT3; SP1 Cup, the spec Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars in their homeground take on each other, plus the SP1 class; SP3, the slowest of the field, but still a force to be reckoned with, full of manufacturer sports cars.
A lot of big names are currently signed up to the event, including the unstoppable F4H, endurance champions M&M, the ever expansive CRA, production veterans Hailfire Racing, Nürburgring enthusiasts Nurbracer, and Rogue Motorsport and Mission Motorsport make a return from Britcar in September.
It's going to be a white-knuckle ride through the grueling eight hours to the checkered flag, who takes the title could be anyone's guess; it's only a matter of time before the Ring claims it's next victim.
