Nurbracer Update
Just a quick heads up this time, to those interested.
N8 is finally over, as is the TEC. I can't say we're overly pleased with the result, but we did the best we could. Unfortunately, of our three cars, only one drove to the 8 hour mark. The Scion did not start the race, much to the disappointment of our drivers and their sponsor, EE. This was mainly due to a serious electrical fault found only a few hours before the green flag; as best as we could try to fix it, we and the race marshals decided to pull the car out of the race in case of a fire.
Six hours into the race, our flagship Z4 suffered damage after it went off the beaten track and through some debris from an earlier accident. We're obviously very annoyed that the debris was not cleared sooner, but we've had words with the officials.
Meanwhile, the Ford GT sailed on to the finish, finding 15th overall and 9th in class.
A big thanks goes to our teammates; Friedrich, Hakkinen, Sarrazin and Midgetexpress. We're overly grateful that you joined us for VLN and N8, and we hope to work with you in the future.
We're going to use this result as momentum to keep the team going through to next year, where we will be partnering with Marc VDS again for the upcoming GT series. If you're interested in joining the team(s), please PM me.
In the meantime, we'll see you on the track!
