Aston Martin Racing enter the GT Championship 2013
After a year with the BMW Z4 GT3, it is with great pleasure that we at ATR Dynamics announce our return to Aston Martin for 2013.
The British brand is one with which we have enjoyed success in the ISCC and we hope to bring that to the GT Championship this coming season.
We will be entering two teams in the Sprint Championship and at least one team in the Endurance Series too.
The first team, Cyber Racing AMR, will be headed up by;
Chris Siddall (CQR Aero)
Louis Satterlee (IRT Gillard)
Chad Wilson (FranchittiFan)
Christian Rose (CQR Shifty)
Cyber Racing made its debut in the British GT Championship at Silverstone in late 2012. The car, shared by John Gaw and Phil Dryburgh finished in 12th position. The season finale at Donington Park saw the car fail to finish but it is early days for this fledgling team that now sees itself entering one of the most prestigious virtual racing series in the world.
The second team, Beechdean Motorsport AMR, will consist of;
Matt Hunter (jenson09)
Chris Ford (Bli33ard)
Ian Maughan (Mourne Identity)
TBA
Beechdean had a mixed 2012, being the sole team running the all new Vantage GT3 in the UK (until Silverstone). The pairing of Andrew Howard and Jonny Adam was potent, particularly at the Nurburgring and in qualifying but bad luck at some events hampered the championship progress of a team that deserved better results for the effort put in.
More exciting details of the two teams will be forthcoming.
Suffice to say, we are very, very excited to be bringing Aston Martin Racing to the TORA GT Championship

Going to be weird seeing an Aston on the grid with no Mr Dan in it.
It is yes, but rest assured, Dan is still active behind the scenes. Can't lose the 'A' in ATR that easily
Good luck chaps, nice to see one of our drivers in the cars, if we can help out with tunes etc the be happy to oblige

Its not ATR anymore though, its AMR
Very pleased to announce that Mourne Identity will be joining Beechdean for 2013.
He joins the continuing pairing of Matt Hunter and Chris Ford in the Aston Martin DBR9's

Great signing, Mr Identity was very quick in the JnrTCC and should get good points during the season for Beechdean.
Still 2 seats up for grabs Matt?

Still two seats, and the possibility of a third Privateer entry for another well known Aston Martin team.... if I can arrange it

Looking good my friend!
Even though I won't be driving, I'll still be involved in the background, especially when it comes to preparing the cars. But right now, I just don't feel ready to return to racing. I'm very much enjoying my break and life is good.
However, just to see how I cope in the same machinery as other members, I'll be making a one-off appearance at the TROC! Could I make it four years in a row?

Think Dan and I could be the only 2 drivers to make all 4 ROC's but thats if I make it!
Cyber Racing complete's its driver line-up by welcoming CQR Shifty to the team!
Team manager CQR Aero was delighted to announce a deal had been struck with the final race winner of the GT Season 9 series, as testing of the DBR9 ramped up for the new year.
