HURRAY!!!

I actually signed up for VM last night and when I went to go look at race numbers, there were hardly any, I actualy got a 2 digit number!

I think even tho the numbers of those registered are the same, I think more people are actually racing here than there. Of course I can totally be proven wrong, and probably will in some way or another, but that is my current observation!

They had a huge number cleansing Christmas week. I went from 541 to 41... 10 secs late on snagging #4.

I think the most important thing is that our numbers keep increasing, and we are attract some awesome racers and newcomers to TORA and hope that the racing this year reflects this. It's fantastic for us to see so many people interested these days Cheers

i think since between Sebring and Le Mans, we have had 1100 (+/-) people sign up, which is truely due to the great work that all the staff and races put into this place to make it so great.
if i'm wrong, someone please correct me, but it was something huge like that

There's no actual racing going on anywhere yet! lol!

In all seriousness, we should just be happy that both sites are as successful as they are, and across both of them there is a massive choice of series and one off special events to pick and choose from.
It's good that both sites are recognised for different things too, with TORA's main event probably being the TEC, but over at VM it's probably Classics. Both sites have great competition and the big teams race at both (and others) which just shows both are recognised as being the top places to race.
And it's good that it's like that, choice makes both sites work harder to provide an even better service.

I've had a snoop around VM's site many a time, but I can't really find any series that I like, apart from perhaps Classics. Super GT isn't really my thing, neither are the many spec series they host or the Seat Cup thing. Also I find their homepage annoying Embarassed I'm not a fan of OTT Flash intros Razz One of the Nurbracer guys is a regular over at VM, I'm not sure what he does but I assume he likes it Razz

I haven't paid them a visit in a little while so I don't know if anything has changed at all, but I can still wholly say that I do prefer TORA Smile Not only do I prefer the website but also the community.

Not that members numbers really mater because it doesn't reflect number of people racing but VM IS only 1.5-2 years old Wink

As one who races in many leagues, I agree wholeheartedly. The more I explore, the more series I find to my liking. The only downside, if there is any, is that the more I race, the less time I have to focus on preparing for any one series. But I do have my priorities: whichever series I myself am hosting is job one, running it then racing in it in that order. Secondly would be my favorite series', TCC, TASCAR and VM NASCAR. It's awesome to go from barely competitive in public lobbies to the occasional A Lobby in some tough leagues.
