I understand what your saying Magic, that doesn't make it ok though. I shouldn't have to choose another class to have a better chance in the world championship because it's less competitive. But i guess you wouldn't really have a problem with it seen as though CQR is guaranteed a top 3 finish at every endurance meeting.
GT3 should rightfully stand alone, as should GT4, combining them is.................well preposterous
If you read the rules when this started you would have seen the points system. And in real life you do have to choose other classes to have better chances of championships, look at GP2 its so much ££££ that drivers go to America or say Formula Renualt 3.5, to show how good they are to the racing world. To say what you've said about CQR is very sad and coming from a pissed off driver who never read the rules.
Although i hate it when real life get's mentioned, relating it to this game. Yes, race drivers jump to different championships to prove their skills, but they are not
all joined up to some world championship were GP2 racers have a shot at beating F1 drivers, so your argument has no ground
Also your quite wrong, im far from pissed off and magic has already stated he chose GT4 to get the maximum points, so what's so sad about what i said?
I've nothing against CQR and when they do well, im one of the first guys to congratulate them as quite a few of them know.

Re: MSA TORA GT World Championship - Results & Standings
Just to back up Amarth as I've been racing against him for a while now. He's probaly one of the most calm and collected guy you could ever meet. I think his words are getting twisted a bit, he just asked a question and as Chris has stated the points system might not be ideal between the scoring, but nothing can be changed now with it being so close to the end of the season now. Definately a point that can be looked at the end. I think he has a good point, but that can be up for discussion at the end of the season and who knows maybe we'll see some changes for next season.

I didn't feel as you were attacking CQR, I think you were just stating how you felt about the championship setup and that's it.
I agree that they should be seperate, but also believe we all had the same opportunity to read the rules and find any faults before the season started.
I would say to you Amarth that with your exceptional skill you're guaranteed a pretty good finish in GT3 since you have a few less of the fast guys in GT3 to battle with you.

Re: MSA TORA GT World Championship - Results & Standings
IMO there is nothing wrong with different classes competing each other in an overall championship. However, if the number of entries per class are different then the scoring scheme must be weighted somehow. I have made an according comment in the pre-season-discussion (see => here). But scoring for this season was kept as it is, I guess also as a way to boost GT4 entries. That's ok with me as I don't care about ranking, but seen objectively GT4 drivers have some advantage for the overall championship. So it's definitely a point that should be looked at when having a similar championship in future.

Re: MSA TORA GT World Championship - Results & Standings
Not sure if this was mentioned, but how about score by overall finish instead of class finish?

That would render GT4 rather worthless though.
Re: MSA TORA GT World Championship - Results & Standings
Because why would anyone who is doing the Sprint Series too run in GT4?
If GT4 is less popular then you need something to encourage entries in it otherwise it would have been dead in the water so to speak.

Cap each class equally and you don't have people bickering over this. I haven't complained at all, as this was the points system purposed and we went with it. This is the first time TORA has done something like this and everyone should expect growing pains. I think enough has been said about the topic that we know TORA will look at it. So to prevent people from stepping on eachothers toes, let's drop it and race the last 3 races, shall we?

I'm concurred with you, rules are rules and we must follow.
