MSA TORA GT World Championship - Sprint Series Round 1 - Catalunya GP - January 27th 8PM GMT

I've got F Lobby up in my storefront. So much carnage for the Vipers. Not pleased with performance.

That was interesting to say the least. The crappy MS wheel strikes again. JP's wheel shut off on him on the 2nd lap of the second race. Then he tried to get at least one place back but was struck from behind. No fault of Polaris though, who got nailed from the rear causing a major pile up. Sorry to those who may have thought he came back on the racing line at turn 3 prior to the turn 4 pile up, he was just trying to get back on track and in the race and still stay as tight as possible. But he will certainly accept any penalties that may come his way as a result.

F was decent. It was getting really frustrating in the Viper when I can out brake just about everyone, only to get cut off in the corner.

lobby D race 1 was good. made blackbird change his pants a few times due to aswesome Viper braking.

race 2 was a disaster. After having 2 BRILLIANT starts and avoiding two huge crashes gaining 10 positions both times...but alas we had to do a 3rd start. After losing Chris from lag I had to start on the outside lane. Got to T1 all fine and dandy only to have a domino crash end with me on the outside with 30% damage. Then got rammed into later in the lap. Pisses me off cuz I was running with all that damage on, right with the guys in 7,8,9,10th.

sucks that Dogskii spun out, but I gained from it and finished 10th.

Just drove one lap with no aero and already lost 0.4 seconds.

Had a great race though, specially because it was my first with TORA. Looking forward to next weeks race!

Standaman was ours, H. Only result I can tell you was I finished 6th and 5th. Should've written them down just in case :-)

My race was good except for a few things hahaha all in all it was great race nice and close and (somewhat) clean.

BTW Lambo's are equipped with rear veiw mirrors right? lol

I must say, it wasn't a good rejoin by JP. Myself, Amarth and Takumi all had to take avoiding action.

However, great job to get into lobby one! Running some great times.

1. Lobby chat. I could care less what you say or if you cuss but once qualifying or the race starts there shouldn't be talking. After you are asked politely it shouldn't be acceptable to go "baaa!" like a [Censored] and continue. Then asked again and silence for a bit. Asked again after and between races by 3 people then you get in an argument during the next race screaming at someone.

2. Why is qualifying so short when you then include a super pole right after it? This track's penalty system is too ridiculous for that. Hockenheim and Laguna with their long last penalty sectors aren't going to be far off.

3. Why is there two races when you never reverse the grid? It doesn't make sense.

I want to do a massive shout out to blackhawk s61 for stepping up to the mark when it mattered most, Also my biggest aplogises to Lobby F, thanks for your patience. to be honest I think i made some new freinds in that lobby tonight. lobby C standing start was totally clean (even with someone stalling on the line), everyone got around the first corner clean.

So my night in a nutshell...

Made it into D lobby with a 1:51.744, extremely happy with the time and result. Messed up superpole and started 13th. Race one ended up 13th had some good battles. Race 2 I got dive bombed in the first corner.. Then the guy didn't even apologize.. Seriously man? Putting in a stewards inquiry for that one.. The hit gave myself and Roadrunner damage, as my car bounced into his after the initial hit... Sucked for both of us.. Well whatever, on to the next race!

Oh and in other news. I got a nice reply from a staff member when asking for replays, " Im kind of busy, could you [Censored] off?" Nice attitude eyy?

Some good racing in Lobby C! I've had a cold the last few days so I was a bit out of it and found it tough to run consistent times.

I do have to agree with VVV Worm on the lobby chatter, entirely too much going on! It's fine to say inside or i'm on the outside but everything else is not nescasarry and off putting.

Im going to be really busy this week!

Lobby F was great fun tonight. Had a bump on mourne and a porsche (sorry) but kept that slippery merc going reasonably straight.
Sorry if i cut anyone up but i got chase cam so if you get a run up the side you can be assured im leaving space. You just gotta get upside first

Thanks to the hosting team, their spokesman james and everyone for a bloody good race!

Whoever started yelling and cussing and calling us names that would be censored, about the lobby chatter after an incident needs relax. Definitely over the top!

well done everyone.......I left due to a problem with the controller, couldn't connect with blackbird, and something happen outside my racin so i need to sort it out............could be better next time.

but......its points in the bag atleast

He's definitely sorry about it. We talked about it and what he needs to do the next time. He accepts that. As mentioned, he was really hoping to get back into the race and thought he could stay tight without causing any incident but he accepts that he should have waited for a clearer path for re-entry. Sorry guys. And he's especially sorry to his teammates!
