TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - Lap Times

you can always go faster, could be the tune, every little change for the better can get you prescious 10ths/seconds
last year i was only getting 2:10's/11s then after a lot of laps, i dropped taht to a 2:06/07

and i'll be doing some laps shortly
see where i still sit, with stock tunes

I've been into the 2:02's with three of the GTE's.

which for me is a new PB
car felt great, so i'm in a great mood
and i know it's not a mind blowing time, but very happy

actually ran mid to high 2:04's with a few of the GTE's with the Default tunes. one that surprised me though was the Porsche. the frustration i had with it in the last season of the ISCC has been resolved. much better rear grip. it's still a little shaky and needs a little finesse to get around Turn 17 without the back end wanting to go in-front of the front end over all those bumps

I just set a 1:44.7 in LMP1 just now. Seems Drake and Alex's team are the ones to beat at the moment.

Drake and Alex are really quick drivers. I remember trying to keep up with them at the N8, but then had to watch Alex drive away from me, lol.

Aye I've been in a few party chats and lobbies with them, they're top drivers. I'm trying to knock off some time right now I know I can close in the gap but won't be able to ultimately match them.

The best I can do us a 1:47:9** in the HP Lola and a 1:48:3** in the Audi R18. I'm ranked in the top 200 overall on R1 so I'm flabbergasted I'm over 3seconds a lap slower? Am I missing something?

I'm 45th overall in R1 and these guys are way faster than me. I think this event's attracted a hell of a lot of robot quick guys.

There are a lot of people out there that don't hot lap. They may not be hotlappers but they are definitely quick on the track.

Drake and Alex have been competing a Formula Forza for a while, they came TORA over 6 months ago and have been competing in the endurance races since 24 hrs of Le Mans. These guys are stupid fast but like everyone else, they can be beaten

Anyone can do 43s around Sebring... Lol

With my probably below average driving skills and a car not tuned by the gods, I managed to do a best of 2:08.912 and averaged 2:12.764 in a Corvette.
