I wouldn't even consider myself fast and I can hit at least mid 45's in all the LMP's with half-ass tunes
Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - Lap Times
Still trying to figure out how I'm at least 7-10 seconds off the pace in every race I run in...could only manage a 1:54.3XX in the HP Lola.

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - Lap Times
LMP's are a completely different animal to race with. You either have it, or you don't. There isn't much of an in-between. You need to run very different lines...T6 for instance you need to take the corner entry wide and take a late apex to get the most speed going into T7. The last corner has a few ways to take it, so experiement with it. The Formula Forza pole lap video should be coming out next week or so, you can learn a lot from it (yesterday's race was at Sebring). I will post it here.

Figured that much, gave it a shot last night but I think it's clear I don't know what I'm doing.

2:04.562 - SRT Viper
Completely stock tune, including stock downforce. I only did 4 flying laps. Because of the low speed, you have to keep momentum up through the corners. Which makes it harder to do fast laptimes than in, let's say, the Ferrari. Viper might be slower, but not by much, 4 tenths maximum.

I'm 1.8 seconds off of that.
Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - Lap Times
Thanks bud, I'll use that as a benchmark as I've yet to run laps at Sebring but I used my 4th overal placement tune from Britcar in the M3 GT2 and used my Suzuka tune in the Viper at Le Mans (no downdforce) ammended for the builds and the Viper could only manage a mid-high 4:03 where the BMW was already in the 4:01's
much the same when comparing the Ford and the Ferrari

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - Lap Times
Can anyone chime in on what they believe will be a competitive average lap time in the GTE class?

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - Lap Times
Did a 2:04.6 with the Lamborghini Gallardo using a stock tune. With my new found knowledge of tuning I hope to make the Gallardo (which is probably one of the slower GTE cars) a competitve car on track!
