Re: TORA GT300 Discussion
Noticed there was a lot more contact in this round, whether it was lag, but the first two races for me were aghhhhhhh
The second race screwed me up big time, got tapped into a spin on the first hairpin by Juicy (who apoligised, but was the only one), then got going again, and then got tapped by Mikey into the tyre wall head on, had a good come back but then got ramed by Dewey , who then dropped out?????, was a bit gutted as my times wer'nt far of the pace.
Ah well onwards and upwards.

Stevie B, not quite sure how it took place, but I apologize for "ramming" you. I do not intentionally ram anyone so I'm not quite sure how that transpired. Anyway I probably won't return to the series to ruin anymore of your races
Dewey
By the way, did anyone save the replays? I'd lik to see them.

It was a great battle. And you should also think about fixing your mic as you cut out every two seconds in game chat.
pls fix the mic because it's very hard for me to understand english, and than the cut out whoo, i didn't understand anything
btw, it's a great series.

I remember racing with you, then suddenly you were gone w/o me feeling a thing. Lag? Either way, I am very sorry about that.
There were three incidents where I know I did wrong. The first was late in R1, right after Darth Mario got by me, lag was all over the place, Bandit tried to follow through, and from my viewpoint our cars bounced into each other. I backed way off so that Bandit could save it, but then he got finished off from someone else (Wingnut?)
My second incident was all me... L1 of R2, into T2 I went in too deep, locked up the brakes and got into Wingnut. I have been battling the braking zone there for weeks in TCC testing, as I brake way too early, didn't want to get hit from behind and overcompensated.
Then the last one was also in a brake zone... in R3, I was following a last lap battle between Bruno and Bandit into the hairpin at the end of the backstraight, and hit my marks spot on, no lock up or anything... but as they were trying to go through there two wide they went in a bit soft. I side slapped my way past Bandit, not making any excuses for it because had that happened in any series that I wasn't C/O of I would have gladly taken that spot, but did give him the spot back in final results.
Sorry again for the lag and related mic issues, and I will do what I can to get that all sorted by the next round,
Re: TORA GT300 Discussion
I had three really intense races and some great battles. Yeah...I got jacked a couple of times and lag definitely cost me a spot or two but I had a great time charging through the field in the first two races starting in the back. Great driving Darth...too bad the races weren't a bit longer. We had a great battle in rd 3 and I was coming for you in rd 1 but ran outta time.
I'll put my three replays on my storefront. My first two replays have a great view of the field and good examples of the lag.
Really looking forward to next week.

Re: TORA GT300 Discussion
^ I wondered what happened to you. Seems that you were on until about an hour before race time. Sent many invites and waited a few minutes to start too.
Re: TORA GT300 Discussion
The main reason I started out at Hockenheim was to learn the track better for the start of TCC/NATCC this week.
About the only thing I learned was that track limits rules are virtually unenforceable, and if TORA tries to strictly enforce them, the Stewards will not get any sleep until way after Sebring

I know that I cost you some time in R1, which may have cost you a shot at Darth Mario... but I was doing my best to finish second ahead of you. I rarely race R Class cars, while I know it is your home turf, and would have been
If I recall correctly, the last time I got to race with you, you me and CRA Adder had a 100 lap battle at Benchmark C in the last race of TASCAR. That was one of the highlights of my TORA 2012 season.

Yeah...I remember, that was an epic race. Dude...you drove really well considering the pressure I was putting on you. Lag aside...who cares if you held me up with good defensive driving. That's just good racing. Can't win em all. Appreciate the kind words.

You gotta have some fun once in a while. Sometimes this gets WAY to serious! Notice I put the bull on the side... They like to "ram" things.

Re: TORA GT300 Discussion
Stevie after I rammed your car last week I felt bad about that; that is why I left the race so as not to cause any problems in the last race. I've watched the replay several times and there is no doubt I hit you. I had no idea who I had hit. If you will notice I also managed to take myself out and then I waited for you to re-enter the track. I do not intentionally ram other cars, but you were far left on the right hander and I had plenty of room to make the corner. Then you sweep right and we collide, its that simple. Yes I have a sarcastic sense of humor sometimes and thats where the bull came from on the repainted driving school car. Sorry if the incident made you mad but I didn't do myself any favors either. End of story.............
In the photo I had the brakes locked up trying to stop.
