Re: 2.4 Hours of Daytona Results
I had an eventful run. That second stop, right after Italia flipped out of the lead, I stopped for competition's sake. The third stop was for a bathroom break. If I hadn't done that middle stop, I might have still won. Second is fine, but most importantly, I had lots of fun blasting the bejeezus out of that Boss 302 Mustang
Re: 2.4 Hours of Daytona Results
was great fun, will definitely run it again some time (maybe different track), and i may have had a chance of winning if i didn't slam the wall n flip the second time, let alone the first haha, but thats racing, and i loved it
Re: 2.4 Hours of Daytona Results
Reverse version of this track causes less flips. But the whole flip thing makes me a bit sad, as I love the circuit and hate not racing there often enough.
But if we have to race these cars elsewhere, Grand Am does go to Road America for a 2:45 race.

Or you can run the three hour race at Indy with these cars.

Re: 2.4 Hours of Daytona Results
Well, to be honest, Grand Am doesn't leave North America. Four tracks in FM4 are on the 2013 schedule: Road Atlanta, Indy GP, Road America and Laguna Seca...
Take your pick

Re: 2.4 Hours of Daytona Results
and Mikey, i sent you a new build for the mosler and ultima, R2, more grip
Re: 2.4 Hours of Daytona Results
Hey, I am impressed I was only 3 miles from Mikey considering I flipped 3 times! The Boss and BMW were a seriously close match - I lost count how many times we switched places until my first flip! That was some classy racingGRT 458Italia wrote:was great fun, will definitely run it again some time (maybe different track), and i may have had a chance of winning if i didn't slam the wall n flip the second time, let alone the first haha, but thats racing, and i loved it

That battle was a lot of fun. And I think that w/o any flips it was bound to be at least a three way battle as we were catching up to Italia not long before your first flip. Had we caught him, there is a chance that Brenwalsh would have caught all of us, making it a four car battle.
Re: 2.4 Hours of Daytona Results
sorry was busy and haven't had time to post yet;
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
That was sooo much fun, I want to thank XPR Small Block for essentially being my race engineer after the two of us lagged out of the party lol. soooo much fun.
Dissapointed we didn't have more drivers do this, but oh well.

you can't flip at Laguna Seca, so hopefully a battle will arise,Flyin Mikey J wrote:S1yfa wrote:Hey, I am impressed I was only 3 miles from Mikey considering I flipped 3 times!
