DJ Kenny Ken (race marshals)

Hi Guys

Can you please say here if you have received any abuse or rudeness from this driver while you have hosted a room, also if you have heard him being abuseive or rude to fellow drivers in rooms you have hosted.

I was hosting a tcc lobby at Hockenheim and he was very loud to other drivers who had tapped him and shouting at them and keep going on, ignoring others asking him to quiet down aslo ignoring myself. Other drivers saying he would force his way pass them but I did not see this and when he was near me he was driving fine but maybe cos it was me I am not sure.

I wouldn't go as far to say I have experienced it in any of the lobbies, but he has jumped in a party recently during a TCC practice lobby, I had to tell him to be quiet as he was extremely loud and very annoying, I know this doesn't really matter as its not during the event itself, but his attitude is certainly one to watch.

Just putting my 2 cents in.

Hes on a 3 race warning and I told him to keep calm and keep your head down, yet I'm hearing hes going crazy in Lobbies.

if my memory serves me right wasnt he already on several 3 race warnings and that was in the gt sprint series.last nights lobby was a good example, it wasnt until race 2 when the problems began,i think race 2 was a bit of a shambles to be honest as no one could hear what was going on and also the fact no one heard anyone say the race had started and then when the third race start i was so raging(*sorry to anyone who had to hear me get mad) so i like come on lets just get on with it which in the end it did.. from a personal stand point if someone like this has been able to race this long and has been told a fair few times to tone it down and not listen then i would suggest they shouldnt be part of said series if they cannot keep quite long enough in race.....

You should have heard him in the TCC Q Lobby Tuesday when his car wouldn't pass tech. and hence he couldn't pick it in the lobby. He was throwing F-bombs all over the place, even at those that tried to explain why his car wasn't showing up and how to fix it.

Before jumping to anything, I think it would be smart enough to ask him if he has something like anger management issues or if something personal is going on with him right now that he has these outbursts. I don't think we should be worrying about someone if there is a legitimate reason to why they act that way. I can think of another driver that should be discussed right now instead of Kenny.

If they can't control their anger, they shouldn't be racing, its not fair to everyone else if they're on the receiving end of abuse no matter what, everyone is here to have fun, and whether its his fault or not, he shouldn't be acting the way he is.

Who would this be? I raised this as something has been bought up higher up so I am asking, if you feel there is problems with drivers then bring that up and we can discuss it

This driver has been known to be a reckless driver. Considering his car is always tuned for straight line speed, he ends up causing a traffic jam at the end of the corners because of him constantly sliding his car at the exit of the corners and blocking the whole track for everyone. I have also had to witness him make the most boneheaded moves in a sanctioned race. I remember at Sebring that he forced it three wide into the double left hand section after Turn 14 and caused a wreck and ended up pissing some drivers off. I believe a reckless driver should be a bigger concern than someone who could have potential anger management issues.

DJ Kenny Ken - well.

He has had a few disputes with me in the GT Q1 lobbies... I've tried to help him etc and he's been outspoken a few times but he's very snappy and annoying when he wants to be.

I'm sure he'll be ok if he gets these warnings, remember JamesHall when he started... much better now.

He was yelling over the bg dude that was running the slowest tcc lobby yesterday. I'm sorry I don't recall which bg person it was that was the host and I'm driving so I dare not look. Anyway, the host, and I (to a lesser extent) were doing out best to try and keep the lobby on track and on time, there was a bit more hyjinks than normal which set the room a bit on edge. The host was trying to emphasize the rules pertaining to talking close to the start of the race after the 2nd start was fouled up because half the grid didnt hear the start time.
At this point I think it's fair to acknowledge that ken has two things going against him in this instance. His mic seems to be especially loud, as does his voice. I think we all know a person or two with one of "those voices", who you can hear accross a room of people talking, clearly. This enabled him to talk over the host while at first reiterating the hosts' reciting of the rules, and later challenging the hosts authority on a number of levels.
I must confess I found it so aggrivating, that I left for the final race (partially because of time constraints, but mostly due to bickering). I apologize if y'all have heard this all before, I just thought I'd share my perspective!

I don't want to argue the merits of diagnosing a personality disorder or chemical imbalance over xbl, but I think we can leave it down to the fact dude has a booming voice and a loud mic. Anything else should be apologized for when in the cold light of reflection.

^ I think the host was Scarlett, as he was the Q Lobby host that DJKen was overly abusive to, as well as CQR (Vapor?) and myself, as we were not just explaining "why" he couldn't choose a car, as well as how to correct the problem within time to qualify.

Helping people is my nature, being told to eff-off when trying to help them is entirely out of line.

Might be good if someone can take him aside and put an arm round him to calm down a little bit. I don't know if he races alone or with friends, but I don't think it would hurt to do that.
