Let's Race (formerly PureTech Racing) - May Bank Holiday Meet-up

Hi gang. Many of you are aware of PureTech Racing, now known simply as "Let's Race" thanks to my team's sponsorship in previous seasons. For those that haven't seen it or been before, it's a single-seater (multiple formulas available) simulator centre very near to Gatwick Airport in Sussex (UK).

They have 10 motion controlled simulators, which will subject you to 1.5G (goes higher when they crank it up for members, but for your first time, that'll be enough!!) in turns and under braking. Those who have been will vouch for how awesome it is, and now that they're running on a custom rFactor mod (used to be a development of NetKar Pro), they have a vastly increased pool of tracks to pull from.

On Bank Holiday weekend this May (3rd - 6th May), they are running a historic F1 challenge around Donington. You are challenged to beat Senna's lap time of 1.18.029 in 1993 spec F1 cars.

This will run from Friday 14:00-22:00 and then subject to availability across the rest of the weekend. It's bound to be popular, so will need to book in advance.

I thought this would be a good opportunity to have a race themed meet-up, so if you're interested, and have a preference of day/time, please post below, and I'll look at booking all 10 rigs so we can all get on together!

I will probably be working on this bank holiday as I had Easter off... however I will have to see what I can do. From what you said Chris this sounds awesome!

Looks like we're aiming at Friday at the moment. Any more takers? Expecting to need to book, so sooner rather than later would be good!

Too close to my son being born, wouldn't dare risk it, otherwise I'd be happy to come along!
