Championship Discussion

We do celebrate it but it's difficult to change that now especially as AJ has packed the calander meaning there can be no push backs which is a shame as it doesnt fit with all of its membership.

Maybe that can be a future improvement that TORA can make. Is there any other dates that people would like free, so TORA has a chance to re-organise if possible. It was a little short notice for the GT3's. The problem is, at the moment there isn't really any free dates, as TORA likes to make sure there is a race every week, which is great, but makes it difficult to re-arrange any other races.
You still don't need to race, as you are allowed to drop your worst 2 results anyway, so 1 event missed is not a huge problem. That means you can miss 10% of the races and still be able to win the championship. Not everyone will be able to make all 10 events, so being able to drop 1 is great.
I hope you can all make it tomorrow.

I do realize though that you can't change something like that for a few people. The amount of people in Europe/UK is far superior to the amount of people in the US and changing something that is ok for the vast majority in favor of the few isn't very fair at all.
Only thing that I am very upset with at TORA for is scheduling. It's a little frustrating how every event is set for one of three days, and those three days are always the same. For example, everything is set for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and if you can't make one of those days. You're out a few championships. I guess I am just a little frustrated how everything is packed into three days. I do realize that that TORA is a "weeklong process" but my only wish is that some events could be moved to other days, like Saturdays. I think it would also smooth out the racing schedule for people who feel they are too compacted.
Sorry, I didn't mean to whine, but I really needed to get this off my chest when I got a good example cause it's been bugging me since the first day I started TORA.

This! i would very much like to run in the TASCAR series, but as i have mentioned on numerous occasions, i cannot while i am working 7am to 5:30pm EST during the work week.

Not really into easter since i'm not catholic.

mothers day...my mom lives almost 1000 miles away from me. so she'll get a phone call.

maybe even a card if i remember

Not having a go but these dates have been up since time began, and only now are people flagging it up. If it were flagged up much, much, much sooner then maybe we could've had a discussion on making it a day earlier as a one off.

Might be time to check the rest of the calendar.

I agree. I will be taking an automotive class this summer on the days when the TASCAR is being run and its an awful shame to only be able to run a couple of events with all the time I've spent on my Pedigree replica.

I too will be missing tomorrows GT3 as I'm doing the family thing this weekend as well. Bummed to have missed it but the family thing comes first. I hope all will understand, I'm sure you will. Have a good race mates!

How will I know if my entry was accepted for this?

Check the live timing before the race, your name should be in the lobby list if you have entered.

Will I have to enter into that form on the homepage aswell as submitting the privateer form?

You will have to enter a privateer form to enter a championship.

and you will have to fill out the form on the homepage for each race you wish to enter

the link for the GT3 results for suzuka are broken

i may miss a 2nd GT3 race this season, which would be the Sebring Meeting (ya, i know. i wanted to fight with Dan around there again. ) thusly ruining my chances of a repeat 3rd place driver finish. but missing it to go hiking/camping/partying in NC should be fun in itself.

So I'm confused. On the calender's page, it says the next GT3 race at Sebring is this Sunday; but on the GT3 calender in the regs it says it's not until a few weeks from now. Which one is it?
