24 hour le man

will you guys be running forza 24 hrs alongside the real 24 hrs?

more than likely after it was done at Sebring

The sebring was a 12hr ran alongside the real thing. I know one of the former members here (his name shan't be spoken) did 24hrs att LeMans. I think its going to happen again. The ISCC version race though is only 2.4 hrs.

I can confirm we will have our 24 Hours of Le Mans Event, I am not to sure if will race on the same day due to most of the staff and community members will watch the race.

Dont forget the 2.4 hours is coming up as well

Thank god, I'm graduating college that Saturday and will be stuck with my family all day. I figured I could get Radio Le Mans on my phone and just stealthily use ear buds all day, but I was mad that I was going to miss most if not all of the race here.

cool i wont miss that either love le sarthe, i did a series there with a jag, racers could here it when i was on mulsanne straight and they were at the corners before porsche curves.

I am interested in joining this series as well as the GT summer series which I already sent my application in for, if I can get an AAR team together for this I will send in an app here too and would love to partake in a full 24 hour race if it happens.

I did 18 of the 24 hours last year. I wouldn't recommend trying that!

I am definitely up for doing this this year. Night shifts. With RLM on the back ground, that would be good fun.

Oh by no means would I attempt the entire thing by myself I would end up falling asleep. I am only going to race if I have at least two other AAR guys with me, and of course a TV set up with the real race going.

The race would be done in stints anyway. Not everyone does the full thing

I know, but I could imagine some people trying to. Some guy we were racing with a while ago talked this big hype about how he won a 24 hour race because he did the entire thing by himself (24 hours straight, he never clarified which game) and went to the bathroom (1 AND 2) in a bucket. We came to the conclusion he was lying because despite not having to switch drivers being 10 seconds off the pace consistently isn't going to win you a race. (at least not in Forza where lag outs are a lot less common than mechanical failures in a real race)

Has the date for this been set yet? I was hoping that it wasn't going to run concurrently with the real race because a) I want to watch that, and b) I have to go to my stupid college graduation that Saturday that starts about an hour after the race does.

I'm interested in running the 24, possibly the whole 24 myself If it's allowed and if I can be bothered. Depending when it's run, I'll need to book time off work.

Hmm. I know someone who did a full length Bathurst 1000. He used a pint glass to to a piss during pitstops...

Hmmm, we know someone who used to race here who sat and did he whole 24hrs on his own and claimed to be better than McNish at La Sarth.

That interview was hell.

Yet he STILL went on about him playing a games console for 24 hours straight. He made the jokes about multi coloured trees and mushrooms about 25 times.

What a pleb.

I think I might be up for that to be honest since I don't have to [Censored] very often and am able to stay focused for a very long time.
