It would be done in stints. You team up with three, four or five other drivers, and do it in three hour chunks. Each driver takes a chunk.

Me and Nick want to use an unrestricted RS Spyder. We need a couple more drivers.

Well, you won't be using an Unrestricted RS Spyder, the car list is the same one that is used in the ISCC. I already said that. Plus it's teams of up to 4 drivers.

I would offer my services as a Safety Car. i got a nicely 'TORA Safety Car' paint on an SLS, and have yet to use it. i do not mind having to sit at the side of the track for a while 'til needed

How would everyone feel if I held this event next weekend? The 25th to 26th of June? Only thing is the N24 is on, so I dunno how you guys would feel about racing when it is on. We don't get a live feed on TV and RLM is doing audio commentary. If there are no objections then I will plan it for then.

Last year there were web streams of the N24 I thought. Has that changed for this year?

The only other thing that might be a problem is that it might be a little short notice to get people to join in? Are we going to be able to get teams together in a week and a half?

i agree with louis, the unrestricted RS spyder would be too quick.

if i were you guys, i'd use the unrestricted lola/mazda...it's a rocketship.

richy i think we should delay the event just by a couple of weeks so 1) more interest can build up and 2) people can get their teams together.

How about the weekend of 8:th - 9:th of july? Maybe start the race on saturday afternoon (GMT) so it doesnt collide with the Formula-1 race on sunday evening GMT?
Then everyone has about 3,5 weeks to prepare teams, setups, paints, which driver drives what stints etc etc..

I was just gauging interest, I wasn't convinced at running it over the N24 weekend but I thought people would just want to get it going. You guys have surprised me with your patience lol

I will pick a date in 3-4 weeks time, I need to check my work rota. As I am organising it I want to actually be able to race in it

Aww man, I was actually gonna suggest that. I amaway for both the weekends of the 23rd-24th and 30th-31st.

classic Le Mans is 16th 17th July. This seems like it maybe tricky.

We could do it early august seems people are very busy in july so it would give us plenty of time to sort stuff out as well

early august is light years away.
