Further migrations to ORM / removal of racing licence
Hey everyone,

I've made a few changes on the forum today,

Racing licences will no longer be required on the forum for any series, and instead you will just need an account on ORM, if you haven't already, register here: https://tora.onlineracingmanager.com/register

The current spreadsheets for the endurance series is now linked to ORM, so if you have any gamertag changes, please make sure to update it on ORM.

Secondly the requirement for having the same username...

Online Racing Manager
Here at TORA I'm always trying to find new ways of improving the way the events are ran, this started with automating the calculations in the spreadsheets, but there is only so much that can be done with a spreadsheet

I have therefore created a new web application which I am calling the "Online Racing Manager", all of our current race series are now being managed by this and can be found at the following link
(with the exception of endurance as they aren't even similar in the way they're managed so require programming completely different)

Over the last few weeks, the role of the community team has been re-defined and re-focused, and new members have been added. The primary function of the team will be to provide assistance and guidance to the general membership when required. This will include:

NTR - Heads To Sedona
Hi All ..

Since Mr. Newman has not entered anything into the team news section for a while, I thought I would take up the reigns to give a little insight into our training camp @ Sedona for the next round of the TCC ..

Following a rather disappointing meeting at Senoma where the team came away licking their wounds after a severe beating (we felt we had been 15 rounds with Iron Mike) .. we packed up the SX4's and trucked our way across to Sedona for some preliminary testing in the heat of the desert surroundings.

Newman-tap Racing launches
FLT Newmanvx and VVV Magictap have come together as a Team for the very first time. Currently the Team is supporting and driving with other teams and partners but a Newman-tap Racing program is being formulated.

More news at a later date.

TORA 2012 ISCC Camino Extreme plus some Endurance news.

Hi all,

The ISCC race at Camino started out fair enough with second in quali. I didn't use my brain and kept slowing down for the guy in front to make sure of a clean lap, even though collisions for quali are set to off!! DOH! Mental note for next time me thinks.

I also managed to inflict a little damage which didn't help so 2nd it was with a 2:12.8xx.

Berty drove a stormer, and I followed him up to the first pit window, where he served his now defunct success penalty, so first...

Newman-tap Racing first entry intentions

Newman-tap Racing state their intention and commit to entering the TORA Endurance Championship.

No car or driver announcements to date but discussions behind the scenes are occurring with other teams at potential partnerships and resource sharing or even teaming up to field one team, staffed and backed by two teams!
