AutoDelta Corse

2010/11 racing has taught AutoDelta team principle GTR Evoluzione a lot. He explains over an espresso in the new head office(Milano) "Decent tunes /builds make a huge difference and a key activity this year is to build a solid partnership with  a top tuner".
He continued... "But core car selection must be a machine I love to race.  Passion for racing must be above racing in lobby A or always winning (not that is an issue in the past???) Scraps over 7th have satisfied as much as winning b lobby".  No doubt 2012 will be a vintage year.

Sponsors announced..2011 quarter 4 and 2012 quarter 1 main sponsors announced - Colomba cycle wear (www.colomba.cc) continue to be main sponsor with Novitec providing engine/car services as part of their sponsorship. Also announced are Ca' Del Grifone (www.Cadelgrifone.it) who will share main sponsorship with Colomba.

We've moved workshop and office to Milano. The core team is the same and still serving the best espresso on the pitlane.
The garage currently consists of Ferrari 458 GT3, 458 in road trim, abarth 500 (Trofeo spec in no fear livery for 2011 season) a couple 131, Alfa's and Lancia integrale's being prepped for rally and touring car use.

It was a tale of two drivers for meeting two in the heat of Sedona Club circuit.

Both drivers qualifying. Chucky a second up on GTR 1.08 and 1.09 respectively.

But GTR got some bad news and had to rush home for family reasons, turns out his little girl has tonsillitis.. But this gave him a DNS..

So chucky was left to race for the squadra..

GTR Evoluzione and Chucky 1982 was at Silverstone today doing some testing.

the times were close between the drivers Chucky 1982 managed to pull out a 1.21 a couple of times but was mostly 1.22 and 1.23s. GTR Evoluzione on the other hand was about a second slower then Chucky and getting 1.23s mostly with the quickest being 1.22.

"We both have different lines at the first few corners weather thats where GTR is failing is something to see" Chucky had to say.

First round of the new championship began in land of the rising sun.

Plenty of testing the days before qualifying seemed to leave GTR and 458 GT3 feeling relatively confident.

Qualification left him in 19th..

After a second rolling start - (taking a rear end shunt on the first one) - saw GTR keep his grid position until the first corner which saw a racing incident drop GTR to second to last. rear and side Aero damage saw GTR struggle to keep pace.

At the end second from last, 20th place seemed a fair result.

Squadra Corse Biancocelesti took delivery of 3 Ferrari 458 Italias.

These are now being prepared for the forthcoming winter GT championship.

With guidance from GaryP and GRP motorsport, build and tune looks strong.

A new team is born in 2011, Squadra Corse Biancocelesti will be one the entering the fray as TORA race team.

With an initial programme in the TORA winter GT Championship, SC Biancocelesti are starting off small, but are hoping for big things in the future.

SC Biancocelesti with their main driver and team principle – GTR Evoluzione – will be entering select championships as SC Biancocelesti to build experience as a team.

GTR Evoluzione will continue his own evolution by racing with other teams, Orange No Fear Racing to name one.
