MSA TORA Audi R8 Cup - General discussion.

I have no idea why you have put Sedona on the track list when at least the past two GT series haven't ran with it, not the best track for GT action in terms of overtaking.

i recon it's good fun, i like it more in reverse, but if you get lines and breaking points right, there's a tonne of over taking opportunities
and (i'm not having a go at you) but saying that is like saying 'Monaco has no over taking points, it should be removed from the F1 calender)

All i'm saying is the past two series of GT have been really entertaining, and seeing as the Audi R8 is a GT car I would have thought a tried and tested system of the tracks that were in use in the GT system would be common sense to use, taking a gamble at picking Sedona.

the 'forward' version of Sedona Club has far more passing opportunities than the Reverse, IMO. the hairpin leaving the 'Drag strip', the left hander at the end of the back-section, are a couple i can name

yea, that's true, it is a fun track with the right people and cars, which we have here

I have a fully painted car already sorted if anyone is looking for or wanting a team mate as will wait until later to register if anyone is up for it.

i'm in the same boat, getting up at 4:30 am for classics, race them, relax, jump over, race R8s at 8am, sounds like a good start to a Sunday

After trying it, can only agree with you, and there were plenty of others in test session 2 who don't like the track either..

But it is a track we are going to have to get used to I guess!

I dont know if there is a specific area I should be posting this is in but I am wanting to enter this cup as a team and already have the paint sorted I just need a tuner to team up with if anyone wants to take on the challenge. Inbox me or send me a message on XBL to get things rolling.

Hope so mate as don't want to be a privateer in this event. Chris if you know anyone that wants a team mate that can tune and don't already have a team can you put in a good word fella

I'll do my best, my buddy Blackhawk S61 is without team-mate at the moment, trying to find someone for him, don't think he's able to tune the car but iv sorted him a decent paint, if you wanna talk to him it's up to you, otherwise i'll ask around see who's available.

Yeah if you could mate, I have already sorted the Bilstein paint job for the car just needing a team mate to tune the damn thing lol

What about Luny?

Didn't know Luny was racing here at TORA. May have to keep him in mind mate but I sometimes cant race his tunes because of the differing driving styles
