Yes, it's still coming out on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC next Spring, but there may be Xbox One and PS4 ports too.
Oh and the track in the FM5 video reminds me of a PGR4 track, St Petersburg perhaps? I do wonder if some of the PGR tech has been brought in by Turn 10, could that perhaps include day/night and weather?

lets just hope turn10 can actually be impressive with this game, graffics alone dont cut it anymore

Agreed, pretty graphics are one thing, but we need more tracks, day/night, weather, dedicated servers using the new cloud based services and Smart Glass integration (use a tablet or phone to look at laptimes, race results etc), innovative features like that. Think we'll hear a lot more at E3 in 3 weeks, can't wait!

Yes, Forza Horizon uses a modified version of the FM4 engine, to support the day/night cycle - but to achieve this they had to drop the frame to 30fps (instead of 60fps for Forza 4), the Xbox 360 just doesn't have the power to do that. But Xbox One is 8 times more powerful and has 16 times more memory, so there's no technical reason why they can't run full 1080p HD, 60fps, day/night, weather, the hardware is there, it's just a design/programming choice now.

This is the first time a Gran Turismo & Forza games have come out at the same time, I can imagine at E3 Kazunori Yamauchi (the creater and Boss at Polyphony) powersliding a GT-R into their stand and going "o sowwwy"

Didn't Forza 3 come out slightly after GT5? They were definitely announced at the same time, IIRC.

I'm surprised at the negative reaction of some of my friends on Facebook to the XB1 announcement yesterday. Yes it was very US-centric, but it ticked all the boxes for a reveal in that it showed the console (you forgot that one Sony!), the controllers, the hardware/OS spec, showed some of the new features, and a bit of gameplay AND kept something back to talk about at E3 (i.e. more detail on games, release bundles, price and release date).
I for one was impressed, but maybe that's because I understood the implications of things like "dev access to MS Azure" more than some others might. I reckon XB1 will kick PS4's ass personally....

As soon as I saw that in the presentation and our '300,000' servers worldwide, I was thinking dedicated servers
There's so much more going on here 'beneath the surface' of shiny graphics and new Call of Duty's, this is a whole new platform and architecture, integrating Kinect, Smartglass and cloud services, and I'm very impressed with what I see

Really, a CELL processor that no one likes, and about 512 mb ram.
In comparison to a more PC like architecture and 8GB ram??
I know where my money would be at for putting out better games. Hint: Not the PS3

I think Myles must be getting the Xbox 1 (2002) model confused with the new Xbox One which has 8x more power and 16x more memory than the PS3...
