I just pray to god that it stays No Tuning Or Upgrades. Or at least everyone with the same Upgrades but no tuning.

you cant have upgrades and no tuning as i guarantee someone will tweek the tune.

in the calendar, says there is 2 events before round 1, are the compulsory?

that's the "Qualifying Meeting" for Round 1. Similar to how the Qualifying is done for the Daytona 500, being it separate from the normal race weekend. the 1st session is you standard 4-lap session (2 "flying laps"), the 2nd is the Qualifying 'Duels', which would be 1/4 of the full distance each to set the Left & Right side of the grid for the "Big Race". Obv, the fastest 2 qualifiers are locked into the 'front row' as is the case for the way NASCAR does it for Daytona.

as long as the meetings finish before 9:30pm BST (4:30pm EDT) for when Qualifying for each meeting starts. (round 1's Q session being the exception because its on a different date)

Tuning these cars isn't that hard...I think I'll sign up, though I'm only gonna make a few races. Conflicting schedule with a different series.

If you miss this what for affect will this give?
I think I will because I drove than a lot of hours of Le Mans and it is also 1 hour later in Europe so it will be too late for a Sunday. I have to get up early the next day.

Add Drag Tires and take out the "mandatory" pit stop, as everyone will be doing anywhere from 1-4 stops each race. Adds strategy, much like those crappy Pirellis do for F1.

The qualifying session is at the normal Sunday meeting time @ 8pm BST (3pm EDT), the Le Mans race Should end by 2pm BST if there aren't any delays

We did this in Winter Heat I believe as a Nationwide race. Damn good fun. The Nationwide series should return in the Friday night spec series so its on a day before TASCAR!
