i think i had you and Insanity sweating a little with myself and VAMR Wilson catching near the end there. one wrong tap though, and i was fish-tailing through 3&4, and unfortunately, the wall had to help straighten out my car. Razz

Btw, the 2nd time we come to Sunset (titled: "Pepsi Max 200"; shorter race distance) i will be bringing the Mark Martin 1998 'Eagle One' livery, the one MM won in 'The Winston' that year.

Had fun and ran strong in my 1st race.
Just messed up passing some traffic and it became a race of damage limitation

Must admit, near the end, i looked up at the distance to 3rd place and it was 2000-something ft, looked back a few laps later and it was halved Shocked

I thought we were drafting well! (Apart from one hairy moment with a superhuman save from Insanity, Kudos to you man, that was fantastic). Breathed a bit of a sigh of relief when you had your incident i must say!

i guess you can say Chaddy and I are the "Wiley Veterans" of TORA 'Stock Car' Racing as we ran in every season since 2010 (i took the helm and renamed it TASCAR in 2011).

1st Race went well finished 5th just in front of Erebus and WhoisJohnGalt (Very close). 2nd Race finished 3rd (Very Happy). Congrats to XPR Eggy. Commiserations to Hurricane, newt and Erebus. That crash happened just in front of me. Very nearly hit a spinning Hurricane.

I was just thinking, maybe next season allow room for transfer positions (pending number of lobbies) or even bottom four of lobby 1 switch with top 4 in lobby 2.

Just like last season, segment one is a throw away segment. No reward for how you place and no repercussions for finishing last.

Just an idea I think would bring a unique atmosphere to Tascar, making that first segment actual mean something to everyone. And now you create a more competitive race.

50:50 whether my team will be running any more TASCAR events after last nights driving standards in A lobby. Both drivers being taken out (Bubonic 3 times!!) and receiving 100% aero damage.

I've reviewed the first race replay and it all stems down to the first accident. I don't see any point in entering a stewards for that as I could have given more room however if you looked at it EZT Puckhead I think should have turned in earlier than he did, I gave him a couple of car widths he just wanted more... much more.

The second incident was due to me having then no aero, as I came out of the last corner my car slid sideways and the leaders scattered and collected me, I was nothing but a passenger the the whole incident.

The Third I was again just collected, EZT Puckhead lost it in the last corner and got hit by GT RACER 2012 who it turn got hit by BloodYCaiN, RACER spun into the wall and DeweyTee and myself not seeing the crash ran straight into his stationary car, carnage.

Race 2 was going well until the incident that took me out of the race, I have put in a stewards about that driving. We'll see what the out come is.

My apologies to BDR Bubonic. I had looked at the "track map" and saw there were cars closing but thought I had enough time to not impede anyone and get to the pits. The car was slow to begin with and got worse after an earlier incident. I still don't understand how I got in lobby A from what I had seen earlier on the forums I should have started in Lobby B. Anyway like in real NASCAR tradition..... you could "get even" with me next race on the road course and take me out. Just make sure you qualify slow and get in my lobby.

sorry mate :/ i had someone on my inside and you on my outside after the restart and i had to move over a tiny bit to give him room bu my thumbstick stuck and then i pulled over too much and hit you

just putting this out there. As per the ISCC and the Entry Form to post "IN" for the upcoming meeting, TASCAR will roll out the same method to sign in for the upcoming race meeting starting Next Week for Round 3.

Yes, sorry Bubonic, your 1st accident was my fault. I tried staying low but had too much speed going into turn 1 and slid up into you. Totally my fault.
As far as your 3rd incident in race one...Not my fault IMO...Just like your 2nd incident, I had no aero coming out of the last corner, got a little sideways, let off the gas( I never hit the brakes at all even though GT RACER said I did...check replay!!!) but unlike your 2nd incident I was able to save it. Unfortunately GT Racer couldn't avoid me and that led to your 3rd wreck.

Race 2 went pretty well for me...Didn't so much as touch anyone I believe. As for you, Bubonic ? Well I guess you had yet another "incident" in race 2. scratch

Not sure I will continue either. My 1st TORA race was honestly disappointing. I've been racing in leagues for a long, long time. And quite frankly I could not believe the bitching and moaning I heard before...during...and after the race. I expected a lot more.

Was telling Mark that we lost Chad and Smithy then I notice i'm all alone.

Gutted, Open nat no other devices etc, Just not my day and I flipping made A lobby Sad

Have a fun night guys im going to go pretend im not upset :/

Imagine how I feel, up 5 places from qualy with a 12 second buffer behind me on the final lap. Internet crashes on the final corner!!!! Near on 2 hours down the drain
