Can you sign up for more than 1 qualifying session?
Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
It says you can sign up for only one...

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
Can't decide between LMPC and a Lamborghini/Z4 GT3 From what it seems though, LMPC looks like it will have a fair amount of drivers. How many per class will be in each lobby?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
LMPC is capped at 50, GTE and LMP1 is capped at 75.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
I'm gonna take a wild guess and go for;
Lobby 1:
LMP1 (x5)
LMPC (x5)
GTE (x5)
Any takers?

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
Now when it says capped, does that mean total drivers or total entries per class?
Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
Richy59 wrote:There is an initial limit cap of 200 racers in the ISCC.
There are no car caps in place for the ISCC, however there are class caps in place. Initially there will be 75 spaces open for LMP1, 50 Spaces open for LMPC and 75 spaces open for GTE.
I assume it's drivers then. And this is initial, so one assumes that more will be allowed to participate should the demand be that high.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
I highly doubt we will see more than 200 people or even close to that, but the initial caps are in places for classes to try find some balance. If there is massive demand in LMP1 but not in LMPC then we may increase the LMP1 demand and reduce the LMPC demand to suit. As usual I am expecting a large number of GTE entries so we'll see how it works out from this Sunday.
We're keeping times hidden as you wouldn't know a rivals time if qualifying was only on the Sunday night. We also don't want people waiting until the last session just so they can see everyone elses time. It also adds some excitement to it
When you sign up to a Qualifying session you also sign up to the Race. Once you have picked the session you must attend the one you signed up - although special circumstances will be taken into account. You can't take part in another session other than the one you signed up for, just as if qualifying was on the Sunday before the race. It is only to spread the load and get the longer races going quicker on a Sunday night.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
I thought knowing the times would be better, like it implements a team/tuning strategy into the mix.
Like, you qualify early but are off the pace so then you have a few days to dial in the car. Or you choose to qualify on Sunday hoping for a better start position but may not have the car tuned better like the guys tht did on Thursday. Like actual race series lol the excitement goes both ways but I've always been a fan of big practice sessions and early qualifying to replicate actual series with al the tuning and practices and such

Does it matter what number Oreca we use or is it the same as with the BMWs and Porsches?

Doesn't matter, as long as the car make, model and PI/Build match then it's all good.
