+1,000,000,000% on this mate. People have to be weary of each other at all times. That's why communication is a necessity in our series as well. And also, having patience will help a great deal. Instead, we've got these slagging matches between each other which completely unnecessary and will achieve nothing.
And also, this idea of someone suggestion of getting rid of the rolling starts is pointless. It's always been a part of TORA since day 1 so why change now?! TORA is all about making our experiences as real as possible and that's what they provide us. The only solution here is for the offenders to sort their internet connections out. The staff have pointed out time & time again to us on how to achieve the best connection possible. Instead of criticising TORA, why don't you credit them instead for the hard work they put in to provide us with these enjoyable experiences.

agree 10,000%
There is no reason why rolling starts should be taken out. Its never been a problem before, so why is it now?
In regards to all this P1/PC/GTE traffic bs, I'm not trying blow my own horn here or sound arrogant but tbh I won by over 6,000 feet on Sunday and there were many times where I checked up and followed GT cars through some tricky sections losing atleast 3 seconds each time. This happened on multiple occasions. Now sure this wouldnt have been the case had Bulin not lagged out but still.. Patience will pay off in the end. Now this is not to say that its always the P1/PC's fault when incident occurs as it is the GT's job is to be as predictable as possible.
Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
Quick question; is there any chance that the current ISCC season will be shown on MotorsTV?

The answer I got was 'maybe', at least now I know for sure tis a shame. I guess it's because the races are too long and trying to cut and edit all the replay footage would be a nightmare right?

Considering race relays only last roughly half hour, it'd be hard to showcase 'part' of the race. Maybe once fm5 arrives.

TCC Season 8 should be on tv. Would be plenty of excitement!

From what I've read regarding Forza 5s Forza TV every and anyone can watch TORA races live without having to be in the lobbyLMR DarthMario wrote:Considering race relays only last roughly half hour, it'd be hard to showcase 'part' of the race. Maybe once fm5 arrives.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
Hey guys, there's this neat forum feature called threads. You can actually make your own! And it's much easier to find ones relevant to what you want to talk or read about that way!
Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
It's been explained to you, check this badass post out:JVz wrote:Hey guys, there's this neat forum feature called threads. You can actually make your own! And it's much easier to find ones relevant to what you want to talk or read about that way!

The two handiest things to know when trying to find your way around these forums is the "View Posts Since Last Visit" link which is found on the forum home page;
and,
that the "page" icon on the right side of the screen just behind the name of the person that last posted in that thread will take you directly to the latest post.
If that is too much to figure out, then you can easily go to the last page in the thread to see the most recent posts.
Creating a separate thread for every little topic just makes it harder for everyone. Instead of a single thread with many posts on the general subject you will end up with pages and pages of subforums to house the many threads that are each a couple of posts long. Then the problem becomes that you have too many useless threads that people do not care to look at (much like this thread).
As an bonus pro tip; if you have this site bookmarked, bookmark the "View Posts Since Last Visit" and you will never miss anything.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
Well, you see, I've only been making threads about rather general topics for ISCC. Sure, some people would just make threads for every little post, but I think each race could have its own thread (separate from the check-in one). Whenever a car build should be discussed, I think that deserves a thread. Call me old fashioned, but I think threads are for different threads of discussion! And that view new posts thing would still work cross-thread, wouldn't it?
Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
But it makes the section clogged up with useless threads! This thread is about General Discussion, which should cover tracks, car builds and the series. We've never had a problem with it in the past. It seems like, in the last few months, anybody & everybody wants to change how TORA works

It's because there's more people here now, and nobody has time to read a 40 page thread!
Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
Who said you had to read all 40 pages?

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
If I want to find anything I might have been interested in, I'd have to do that. I don't know if anything relevant or important was discussed earlier! Unless you've got a summary?
Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
So we need to make a thread about every little detail just incase it hasn't been discussed in this thread? And if it has it could be buried somewhere in a 40 page thread. We have a search bar.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
Not every little detail, man. Big details. One thread for a mega-season is kinda pushing it! Look how many posts there are, and we're only three races in! I think a general thread for each race week/event is a good compromise. Perhaps a separate thread to discuss balance issues in general, too?
Alright, I think the best idea would be a new general thread for each race. Then that would leave this thread for anything else to discuss that isn't relevant to a specific race.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 1 full)
It's quite irratating to have to read this cr@p. people complaining about the rolling starts, people complaining about the track order, and people complaining about the d@mn general discussion thread. I don't mean to sound rude but this is how they've done it for a long time. Nobodies making you race here, this is by choice. So why not show a little respect to the people that put all the work into this instead of whining about every little thing.
