MSA TORA Spec Cup Season 2 - General Discussion

Just sneaked into lobby A which I was pleased about and didnt do to badly concidering everyone was pretty much a full seconded quicker than me  

Hope the connection will be okay tomorrow! It is [Censored] as hell right now. Don't now if it's only for me here in The Netherlands, but it takes like 15 minutes to start Forza.

I've also had that same problem.

ok, so connection issues, cant race, fair point, but what gets me after looking at the standings.

Im sat in 12th place, only missed one race, and have connection issues with somebody who has only done one race out of the whole series and is sat in 29th, they get to race, im not happy about that tbh, should have gone off championship standings, would it have been different if this race was a championship decider and i was in that run but couldn't connect with somebody outside that running ?,

not happy but whatever whats done is done, see you guys for the next one     

Smurfy, it was only fair to do it by qualy results. No doubt The person in question spent just as much time as you practicing and preparing for a race, it would be unfair to then turn around & say you "No can not race even though you qualified in front of the person you are conflicting with". I can understand where you're coming from but the other person could only make the last 2 rounds and no doubt if he could have made more he would have. It's unfortunate that you couldn't connect but that's just the cruel world of forza some times. All I can suggest to both parties is to make sure that your NAT type is Open and your port settings are all groovy.

On a more positive note I'd like to thank chris for setting up the series and making sure everything ran as smoothly as possible & I can't wait for the next round of the spec cup to begin!

brilliant racing tonight in lobby B, rolled it first race and finished 10th but second race finish 3rd with a good battle all the way through with paul299 :)big shout out and thankyou to organisers and lobby hosts could'nt have races without you guys

Smurfy, You can't know that it was me you were conflicting with. We were in the same Quali session and we had no problems?

Very, very nice last race! Love the Ring, so that suited perfect for me. 1st race 3th and 2nd race 2nd place! Nice racing the second race Lightning!

I'm as gutted as you are Smurfy, you know we all want everyone to connect and we did try everything possible, even THAT trick. As tonight's host I feel responsible for it because not everyone was happy with how it was run etc... as I posted in the meeting thread it's not something we can really control, it COULD have been anyone, there's nothing that shows to everyone NAT settings so we can't really pinpoint it to anything in particular. It's frustrating because unless you're all over the track in lag we can't really pick it up.....

Yeah my apologies to Smurfy IF it was me, but my NAT settings were Open and we were together in Quali.. Sorry

im not having a dig, i understand what happend and why it had to happen, my NAT and ports are open, so i know its not my side, either way whats done is done, thank you for hosting this series and thanks for trying what you did, all's well that ends well, ill still be here for the next series.

Great racing with everybody who i ran with great car and great series. it is just a shame i couldn't run the final was really looking forward to it, it is a cruel world when it comes down to connections, and i know it was running a little late but lobby B shouldnt have started untill the final go ahead was made, because that ruled out a possible race start too.

See you all for the next series, hopefully ill be able to challenge TG Haydo for that #1 championship spot !. Here's hoping !

Realy enjoyed my first series on TORA. Chuffed to have finished 8th. Everyones made me feel very welcome.

Looking forwad to the next series and hope to bring a few more Madnotmad drivers with us for the Clio's

Can we bring back 3 car teams for the next spec cup?

I think we will be bringing back the teams for next Spec Cup... only because it's a MSA TORA championship as an ACTUAL series.

Thanks for letting me run in a couple rounds when I was at home for it guys! if I was home more often I would've ran the whole thing and had a chance at the top 5!
