Build it, Race it, Win it (gauging interest)
so, this series is a series that takes us back to grass roots racing, mixed with a top gear challenge and street racing.
you start with $35,000 to which you buy a car, and depending on which class that is that denotes how much the upgrades cost.
the rules: don't cheat the system
any cars from F100-S700 are eligible that fit in the price range.
you win money for winning races to which you can put towards your car, or save up for another one.
you must follow your designated class parts list correctly.
you can pink slip drivers for their cars, but only if you both have two or more cars (always need a car to drive in)
you can sell your car after a period of time if you like, you get 75% back from what you spent on it.
there is no set calender, there will be challenges each week which can be done offline and you post a picture or text (depending of event) up here.
there will be some race meetings that will be posted with sign in sheet a week before hand.
with the $35,000 the car you buy cannot be from the auction house and costs what it does in game, but the upgrades cost what is specified on the class appropriate list (class of stock car)
once signed up, you must update your modifications, spent money and money left each time you buy/sell something.
the Challenges:
the challenge list will not announced until i get enough interest, but the challenges will include photo competitions, design comps, autocross laps, hot laps, traffic laps, races and many others.

Re: Build it, Race it, Win it (gauging interest)
awesome,
i take no credit for the work of the spread sheet, they are thanks to Smooth and END Impusle who created it for BNB, which was great fun, but i prefer TORA so i brought it here, they set it up as a grass roots drifting thing, and i'm gonna use that but put a TORA twist on it, races, auto cross, hot laps, top gear like challenges, fuel challenges, a lot, i cannot wait for it to start, best part is, 85% of the time, it can be done offline, so i don't really need a time slot

I like the consept but seems horribly complicated, for example the 97 Honda Civic is very fast for it's class and cheap

Re: Build it, Race it, Win it (gauging interest)
Its a good idea since Bnb is gone down the drain.... But some of the boys from DIS have started a new site.
I just think you'll have a lot of work to do yourself sorting out bankstatements and stuff
