TCC Season 8 Preview
After such a strong performance last season, XPR is looking for another shot at the TCC Championship. Finishing 2nd in Teams Championship last season, they have revamped the team and ready to get this season underway. XPR had a feud in the offseason with the Citroen manufacture, in which they couldn't reach a deal. After much debate, the team has found a new manufacture to compete in. With the drivers running the Renault Megane this year, the rebuilt team should have a strong chance at the ultimate prize.
XPR Bilstein is the new sponsorship they have chosen to run on the Megane this season. XPR Venom, the team Captian, will be looking at another chance at the pivotal Drivers Championship. After finishing runner up last season, he is very motivated on looking to have great success this season. Joining Venom is TCC veteran, XPR Nightmare. After a shortened season last season due to loss of sponsorship, he looks to have a better luck this season and contend for the title. The third driver S2M Ranger, veteran of close action-packed racing, will be rounding out the team for XPR Bilstein. He is looking to have a strong season after not finding a sponsor last season. Good luck to XPR Bilstein on their Championship run.
On the privateer side of things, XPR will be fielding three cars. With the deal XPR Bilstein scored with the Renault manufacture, these privateers will also be running the Megane. XPR Karma, a TCC veteran, will be running this season under the XPR Cartel privateer team. He will be looking to have a strong season, but lack of full season sponsors may put a halt to what could be a good season. XPR is actively searching for sponsors so that he can run a full season.
S2M kenny, this year a new driver with XPR will be riding solo as well. He will be driving the Tech3 Reanult Megane. Kenny is a strong driver and is looking to have a good year, in which the drivers this season is the strongest yet. He is an experienced race car driver, and loves the close racing and is up for the challenge.
XPR UK, XPR Devils privateer team, is looking for another solid season. XPR Devil is a veteran TCC driver, running last season in the KIA and has ended his relationship with them and has chosen to run the Renault Megane with the rest of the XPR team. He is also looking ahead and hoping for the best of luck this season as last season wasnt the best. Last season wasnt the best for him as a few accidents stopped him from doing better in the standings and is ready to prove he belongs in the TCC field.
With that, this closes out the teams for XPR in this season's Touring Car Championship. Good luck to all drivers in this years Championship as this season is looking like the strongest field ever for a TORA series. Just an insight on how close this season might be, early testing shows 15-25 drivers within the 1:00:300 to 1:00:800 range, around the british track of Silverstone National. Put on your seatbelts and buckle in, this Championship is going to be one for the ages!!!!!
