Re: MSA TORA Touring Car Championship - Round 7, 8 & 9 - Tsukuba Full – October 1st 8PM BST
Had a good night's racing despite the drive through penalty in Race 1.
Had some good battles with a lot of people in Race 2 and had a lot of fun!
Race 3 I was experiencing quite a bit of lag so wasn't 100% aware of my surroundings (as they were jumping around) but hopefully didn't cause too much trouble...
All in all a good clean and fun nights racing for me and the Nankang Tyres UK Megane.

Really good racing in race 1 & 2, Race 3 we had a restart but I was a bit unsure what that was for, there was a few bumps in race 3 with people braking early (too early) so sorry for bumping you up the rear
1st, 3rd & 4th overall so I'm quite pleased with that

Good racing in C Lobby too.
Some contact all round but nothing too serious and everybody got & received a bit.
Some squeezing and diving in the braking zones but that's to be expected with a track like Tsukuba where seperation and clear opportunities are hard to come by.

Re: MSA TORA Touring Car Championship - Round 7, 8 & 9 - Tsukuba Full – October 1st 8PM BST
race 1 with XPR karma was brilliant 16 laps no more then 50ft between us and only 1 minor bit of contact in the entire race, by far the best race ive had round this track ever.
Race 2 god knows what happened to my car but just couldnt drive it so tried staying out the way.
Race 3: Lots of contact was heavily damaged by turn 2 (minimum of 60% all over) through frankly bad driving. Then had a great 3/4 of a lap side by side with CQR Stevie. Some dubious driving and moving in braking zones by people aswell which really didnt help things.
Overall great hosting by trash and thanks to those i saw in lobby c for overall a fun night on track

I was gutted to miss out on quallies, but you guys were a fun lobby to race with. That R3 battle was great fun until a lag bomb forced me to pit or quit.Hunty1981 wrote:some great racing in G lobby thanks mikey for hosting it, race 3 with 4 battling for 2nd couldn't ask for it to be any closer
Re: MSA TORA Touring Car Championship - Round 7, 8 & 9 - Tsukuba Full – October 1st 8PM BST
Cowboy/Guru, that's the best racing around there I've had, good and clean for majority of it, race 3 started last was up to 7th by lap 4, where I encountered a little of the closing of of the braking zone which dropped me down to 9th/10th, but finished 4th
Well done to everyone in the lobby, no restarts and mainly clean, and well done trash for hosting

Re: MSA TORA Touring Car Championship - Round 7, 8 & 9 - Tsukuba Full – October 1st 8PM BST
Some excellent racing as always in A Lobby - the testing team should be applauded for the car balancing as there was nothing to choose between the Leon, Megane and Civic during the races!!
The racing was tight, competitive but above all respectful..............most of the time
Finally, a huge thanks to Thom (Koenigsegg R) for standing in for CQR HABURi in the CQR IKEA Civic. He did a fantastic job at pretty short notice

Re: MSA TORA Touring Car Championship - Round 7, 8 & 9 - Tsukuba Full – October 1st 8PM BST
Guru,,thank you sir,,first race was quality my friend. At time I was having to look through your rear windows to see my braking point,,lol. It was just poor fortune that gave me the chance when u made that tiny mistake to slip by you,,great racing though bruv
Second race I had another bumper to bumper session. Myself and AEFR xScarhandx had a right old battle,,,very clean though on both our parts for 12 laps or so,,where again fate worked on my side for once and the slightest of mistakes by Mr Scarhand gave me the chance to do him,,lol. Cracking race though sir
As for the last race of the evening,,started second from the back. This was gonna be a MISSION to try and make a dent in this field,,as everyone was racing with their A-game heads on........However, myself and CQR Stevie (well done on ur two wins as well sir ) managed to shoe horn ourselves though the field and I think we got up to 3+4th with some blinding passing moves and if it were not down to the odd mistake being made by folk the story could have been very different. Nice driving Stevie anyways. You parted the waves and I followed,,lol
And last of all thanks to BG Trash for stepping in with 3 mins notice to host. All three races were seamless....we formed up grid wise perfect and very quickly each time and got off without issue. Bravo sir
Very clean racing all in all last night. Thank you to all in C-lobby for making it such a fun night.

Agreed, it was absolutely brilliant, superb battle with the XPR guys who drove very well and thoroughly deserved their wins. Some wonderful battles throughout the field in all 3 races, nothing to choose between any of the cars, it was just pure racing. And race 3 was epic - 14 laps in and the top 6 still covered by a couple of seconds. I've got a few pics to upload shortly.CQR Jono wrote:Some excellent racing as always in A Lobby - the testing team should be applauded for the car balancing as there was nothing to choose between the Leon, Megane and Civic during the races!!

Also, surely B lobby was the closest lobby in TORA history - 13 cars covered by 0.115s in qualifying!

Great racing last night in lobby B. The racing was tough but fair.
Wish my car handled a little better & had more grunt out of the corners. But hey! More testing needed I think.
Can I ask if anyone from CQR is willing to hand me a tune for the Honda Civic from Tsukuba so I can compare please? Just to see where I'm going wrong with the build.

Re: MSA TORA Touring Car Championship - Round 7, 8 & 9 - Tsukuba Full – October 1st 8PM BST
Hello. First experience with this session:
I missed the quali because my gamertag was not proper, my fault but thanks to be allowed to race.
My practice times were around 45-48 place with the big setup help from CQR Vapour and Plow tubbi.
So i was in the end of the row with slower racers in front of me.
It was a great race but were some trouble. First race was very laggy, damaged my car very hard i only managed 8th. Second race was better with little damage 3th place. Last race someone spin me out in the first corners, medium damage so i had to reach the others, 5th place.
There are racers who try to overtake in impossible corners without thinking, spin me out a couple of times, miss the braking zones and hit me from back. They should listen more carefully. I am not a whimping man but in cases it was too much it was over racing behaviour.
