Great racing in Lobby D, thought I was on for a double win and a possible 3rd after going from 11th to 5th in turn 1 but wasnt to be. Unlucky Aero but at least we crashed big time and in style

Wow it's tight at the top of the championship now! (Dropped round is now calculating properly).
Re: MSA TORA Touring Car Championship - Round 13, 14 & 15 - Sunset Full Reverse – October 29th 8PM GMT
Lobby E, first 2 races good clean fun, had a great race with sbiggs for about 7 laps finally finishing 2nd to his 1st. 3rd race was a lag fest, was restarted and still with a laggy competitor, got whacked in the rear, lost position, and then ran straight into a car blocking the road after he'd bounced off a barrier leaving me with 100% engine damage which after pitting still left me 15mph down on the speedway with screwed aero, ****ing joke;
but the first two races were good fun and had high hopes of another decent finsh until that debacle

Oh snap, I thought I done enough to pull out a point or 2! It's going to be intense at nurburgring then. Shame for the immense amount of lag in race 3 though, Really enjoyable night apart from that!
Good job to everyone in A lobby for making it as easy as it was

Re: MSA TORA Touring Car Championship - Round 13, 14 & 15 - Sunset Full Reverse – October 29th 8PM GMT
Rubbish evening for me, WAY off the pace and didn't get a proper chance in Qualifying lol.
Cheers to everyone in lobby B for being patient with some of the issues we had and hope apart from the small incidents, people enjoyed themselves

Lobby D was fun. Well other than the write off in race 3 due to a lag incident. Anyone got a spare Civic shell?

An unfortunate racing incident at the start of race 3 rather wrecked my race. Race 1 & 2 were good fun.

Very good stuff in lobby A, congrats to everyone keeping it clean, but race 3 was a dissaster as haydo said with the lag, had high hopes looking at taking 4th but instead got obliterated.
Decent points though so not all bad;)

I did not bounce off the barrier, I got pushed into the barrier and had nowhere to go (on my side you lagged and nobody else). Racing incident seems not to be part of your vocabulary. This is part of racing and if you are a good competitor you would now that. But NO if it does not go your why all the time, then the F-words come flying. Your reaction to this is a JOKE!!MVG skyshadow5 wrote:Lobby E, first 2 races good clean fun, had a great race with sbiggs for about 7 laps finally finishing 2nd to his 1st. 3rd race was a lag fest, was restarted and still with a laggy competitor, got whacked in the rear, lost position, and then ran straight into a car blocking the road after he'd bounced off a barrier leaving me with 100% engine damage which after pitting still left me 15mph down on the speedway with screwed aero, ****ing joke;

The same happen in front of me in race 2 and I got knocked in the back as well a few times. THIS is all part of Touring Car Racing. Get over it or log an SI or go play with your dinky toys.

Re: MSA TORA Touring Car Championship - Round 13, 14 & 15 - Sunset Full Reverse – October 29th 8PM GMT
Touring Car Racing involves rubbing (hence the term "rubbing is racing") and the odd gentle tap THAT DOES NOT RESULT IN BEING TAKEN OUT. When you are hit from behind and you lose positions because of it then this is NOT "part of Touring Car Racing". If you think hitting people off the track is racing you should start by reading TORA's race rules again, THAT is what pissed me off. Having my car wrecked when hitting your stationary car in the middle of the track was not something I actually wanted to happen, funnily enough I wanted to race and so when it happened I was understandably pissed off but at no point did I ever blame YOU for this incident, so stop being so defensive and look at the incident again.NoXiDeS360 wrote:...This is part of racing and if you are a good competitor you would now that. MVG is right NoX.
As he said he does not blame your driving he was talking about lag. No need to be defensive.

If I could I would have gotten the car out of the way sooner, but it was going nowhere in 4th, with 100% engine damage and around 70% gearbox damage.
By the time I got it in 1st it was to late.
Sorry for ruining your race, was not my intention.
Shake hands?

Re: MSA TORA Touring Car Championship - Round 13, 14 & 15 - Sunset Full Reverse – October 29th 8PM GMT
It was fun, people need to clean it up on the formation lap though. We had a couple near misses because someone lost it drifting or decided to randomly lock their brakes on a straight with a row of cars behind them. It does nothing to heat up your tires, the temp just drops right back down when we line up on the grid anyway.
Also next race I will not be letting impatient people behind barge me off track in T1 again so pick your lines wisely.
