Re: MSA TORA Touring Car Championship - Round 13, 14 & 15 - Sunset Full Reverse – October 29th 8PM GMT
Bad day in the office here.
C lobby as I cocked up my qually laps bigtime.
First race I quit out rather than carry on due to lag in the lobby and cars looking more like UFO's, causing me to fear I was gonna ram someone or the like (not blaming anyone, just one of those issues)
Second race was a little more fun,, the lobby sorted itself out and had a good battle at the back with Hainsey and Smithy I think it was
Third race went off to a flying start....4th on grid and within a few laps I had got to the front and was managing to pull a bit of a gap...................
Then I caught the Xbox button on my wheel when changing gear and my wheel switched off..................
Sometime u beat the game,,,othertimes the game beats u,,lol.
Cheers to the others in c-lobby thought,,barr my problems the chat was good and the racing clean.
And thanks to Tubbi for hosting
Le us hope for more positive notes next round,,lol

Good racing last night. Got a little caught up with WizWoz and lagging whenever you get near to his car but all was good and clean.
Only downer was last race and the comment of "That Megane was suspiciously fast". But hey if you have an issue raise it with a steward.

All the cars have strengths and weaknesses, some tracks play to the advantage of different cars - but over the season there's been very little to choose between any of the leading contenders. The top 4 in the drivers championship are in 4 different cars and the top 3 teams in the teams championship are in 3 different cars. The PI system does a good job of averaging out the differences, especially within the series restrictions (weight/bhp/mandatory parts, banning engine swaps/superchargers).

You was extremely unlucky last night bud but enjoyed racing with you. Sorry about the dink in the 2nd race though, I know you got caught out by the car in front which caused you to brake very early and normally I would of managed to avoid you but I'd already started braking at my normal braking point and couldn't get my car stopped in time. Just one of those things but kudos to you for taking it well, hopefully we'll have better luck next time.XPR Karma wrote:Bad day in the office here.

NO...CQR CHRiS wrote:The megane was quick down the straights for everyone I didnt quite get were that comment came from.
I was outrun by everybody on the straights in our Lobby (D) even when I was in their draft. I would exit the last turn 3 inches from their bumper and everyone would pull away.
The Megane was SLOW on the straights but a weapon in the turns, If it wasn't for that I'd have had a very bad night...

With you on that Beanz, Leon was 3-4mph slower than most cars round sunset.

Fastest tune I had, Handled WAY too badly and lost too much time in the turns on a power-build...CQR CHRiS wrote:Must of had the wrong build on Slider

Re: MSA TORA Touring Car Championship - Round 13, 14 & 15 - Sunset Full Reverse – October 29th 8PM GMT
for me the megane had pretty much the same speed as the leon. The civics where a good 5mph faster than us but it was about time they had a good track for them. different builds i used could differ about 4 mph on the straights so its all about what run you get out of the last corner and what build you use. This was arguably one of the meganes worst tracks but we struggled through.
