You'll be happy to know the replay is on my storefront.TweekPunx wrote:Loved racing with you mate :)was a crying shame my internet gave up the ghost because the fight was just getting interesting ;)going door handle to door handle with you though Indianapolis was amazing!BG Trash McNish wrote:yeah didnt have a great time today fluffed qualifying only getting 1 clean lap that i drove slower to bank.
Race ,well taken out on the start given aero damage then a stupid down shift cost me some engine damage plus a few run ins with the twinkees this all cost me a few miles but overall not a bad result all things considered.
p.s.: does anyone have the replay from Lobby C on their storefront?

I get distracted if there is too much chatter but Project (No malice here Project mate i'm sure you will agree) struggles with any chat at all I have noticed.
Most weeks we are in a lobby I hear you say your turning your mic down etc, Only silence will be good enough I feel
Backwards driving though is not a good thing to be dealing with
I love a bit of banter before & after the race, I don't mind the relevant stuff during the race, passing instructions etc from GTE to LMP and this kind of stuff. But I struggle with open chatter for sure.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 2 use)
It doesn't need writing it's expected to be done. It should be in the sporting rules anyway. We might as well take advantage of our communication systems and chat.CRA Project239X wrote:Then it needs putting in writing mateyVAMR Wilson wrote:Its a (unwritten) rule to call out when you pit IN and OUT in the races.CRA Project239X wrote:No offence taken Mr Newt, there's some truth in what you're saying, I personally don't call out passing or pitstops. I don't mind chat to be honest, I think can handle driving and bantering better than some but sometimes it can be a bit much, and sometimes it bites me in the ass
Thing is I like listening to all the status reports and call outs because I can calculate who's where, how far I'm ahead/behind them and if they're in a lower class, how long before I catch them. I like collecting all that info.

To be fair i've never called out my pit stops either, i've always found it slightly weird that people do...CRA Project239X wrote:Then it needs putting in writing mateyVAMR Wilson wrote:Its a (unwritten) rule to call out when you pit IN and OUT in the races.CRA Project239X wrote:No offence taken Mr Newt, there's some truth in what you're saying, I personally don't call out passing or pitstops. Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 2 use)
I thought it was a TORA rule? I know it is a rule at VM and XPLR to call In/Out of pits, so that oncoming cars have a clue of what you are doing. Going into the pits isn't a huge deal, but popping out of the pits is a huge deal at some tracks.
Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 2 use)
It's pretty easy to know when to expect someone exiting the pits though no? I mean there's the huge blob on the mini map...

If it isn't in writing then it isn't a rule, simple.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 2 use)
A lack of communication will only lead to 1 thing - more crashes.
This isn't NASCAR - we don't have spotters.
This isn't F1 - we don't have a team of people on the pit wall telling us who is close to us, how fast they are closing etc.
If you are at fault for a crash because you didn't let someone know where you are, then you must be prepared to accept full responsibility that.
It's a game, we all play it to have fun. What isn't fun is when someone else ruins your race. We see it after almost every race in one form or another and if a little bit of chat in the room to let people know where you are/what you are doing helps to reduce it then, well, it seems pretty damn obvious what should to be done.
It may not be in the rules but good sportsmanship is too hard to define for rules.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 2 use)
We have always communicated every race infact to tell drivers if you are pitting its just common sense, looks like a common sense rule is needed.
Banter is fine in lobby but if some 1 asks some 2 be quite then please be quite and dont play music down your mic turn your mic off

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Season 5 - General Discussion (part 2 use)
A quick question. How should I enter the pits in Catalunya? The BOT usually slams my car into the wall... and I get aero damage. It doesn´t happen with all cars, but there are some that are quite wide and don´t "fit" in the computer´s calculations. Any ideias?

Just go slowly into them, normally if the AI takes over you don't get damage.
