TCR Vintage Trans Am Series Discussion

thank god, no Sebring, no Road America, yeah theyre great tracks but they're in nearly every championship at TORA, VM, etc etc

^ Yeah... I've grown bored with "long straight, 90 degree turn, long straight, 90 degree turn...repeat", so I intentionally skipped Road America and Sebring.

this might seem like a stupid question, but what are the assists for this?

I would have liked to lock off TCS, but don't want to put anyone off. Sooo....

Steering: Normal or Simulation
TCS: OK
ABS: Off
STM: Off
Transmission: Automatic/Manual/Manual w Clutch

HAHAHA, I'm the slow one of the team. I just love racing muscle cars is all. Normally I use Mopar as my sponsor in the 1990's colors, but I might do something different this time.

I don't think so, both hoods are the same weight so there shouldn't be any difference, i'm running the bulge rather than a scoop, the ladies love the bulge...

I guess that either aftermarket hood would be acceptable. The stock hood will not let you into the race lobby as I have set it up very tightly.

I guess now my only questions are about the tire width differences across all the cars, but I've figured you've tested them enough.

In stock form there are cars that handle much better than others. That has been equalized throughout the upgrading process and tested thoroughly within the Ax4x team. As a result each of the Allied Forces entries picked our cars via real world loyalty and/or liveries, as we found no season long dominant car.

Really wish I could do this, looks like it'll be a great series.

Something rather unexpected has come up... I need possible host volunteers, preferably for the A Lobby since its highly likely that the usual hosts would all be in B.

You have 8pm BST listed, so does that mean it's actually 9pm for us or what, i'm confuzzled?!  

Now that daylight savings time is over on both sides of the pond, we should be squared again at 8PM your time.

yay only have to get up at 5:40 instead of 4:40 tomorrow morning hehe   

A couple things to remember:

Sprint Race has a rolling start. Drivers are to listen for the grid order and roll into position as safely as possible. Formation lap is to be run at a speed no greater than 80MPH with a 100 Foot gap between cars until the last turn, at which time drivers are to line up into two rows of cars. As soon as the last row is in position, and the polesitter is notified, the polesitter may call the start, with a 3, 2, 1, Go countdown.

The Feature Race will be gridded via Lobby Points, via a Standing Start with a Ten Second Delay. Where you are is where you start, and after the default 3, 2, 1 in-game countdown, drivers are to wait until the race clock reached 00:10.000 to commence.

Also, the Feature Race requires a MANDATORY Pit Stop. The Pit Stop may be completed at any time within the first 20 minutes of the race, but all drivers MUST complete their pit stop before the race clock reaches the 20:00.000 mark.
