iRacing BTCC & BSR TV

If I get my wheel in time I'll give the BTCC series a go.

The Porsche cup has a guy called Brad selmes in it. He goes to my college and is my class, World is very small in Virtual land.   

Once I get a new TV for my PC and get the G27 hooked back up I plan on getting back into iRacing, however I only ever raced the Ovals and didn't do any progress on circuits. What are the cars like to drive?

-How do I join?
-Do I need a certain license or does it not matter since it's a hosted league?

At the moment some cars' Tyre Model feels fantastic while others feel very much like you're driving on ice. Most of the older cars are on "New Tyre Model Version 4" (NTMv4) which for some cars makes the tyres fastest only when they're cold. The Radical and the IndyCar feel brilliant with NTMv4 but the others are mediocre.

They've started a new Tyre Model (NTMv5) and have applied it to a number of cars and continue to do so which makes the cars feel like they have grip and you have confidence on how the car will react to inputs. They're adding it to some cars soon like the McLaren GT3, Lotus 49, Skip Barber, Williams and some others.   

Porsche feels epic apartently

Ordered my new wheel yesterday. Got an email today to say it should arrive on Thursday. Purchased the Porsche, Kia and the required tracks for the BSR Carrera Cup and BTCC I have to say I'm really surprised about my wheel since I only chose standard delivery. I was expecting it to come some time next week. Had a look at the tracker and it's coming from Germany.

Got into the first race fine but then couldn't get into the other 2. Don't know if I'll continue with this as I don't really like the KIA.
