iRacing BTCC & BSR TV

Hiya all,

So CQR have a couple chaps racing in this:

CQR Jono (Martin Johnson)
CQR Birla (Craig Birleson)

They are now 12th & 15th respectively!! http://britishsimracers.com/season3/standings

Might be a couple more of us joining too ;O) Anyone else who likes iRacing and can / wants to give it a go, it's under the UK&I forum thread as BTCC.

Next quali and race in the pic below, however the races won't start until about 8:30pm

All the cars are the Kia Optima. And they have BTCC paint schemes ;O)

I watched the last rounds. Very good quality of racing IMO and I have to tip my hat to Jono, as for his first event I think he did very well indeed!

I hope to be getting my build sorted for my PC in the next few weeks, so fingers crossed I can keep up with the very high standards you guys have already set.

Already looking forward to cheering you guys on next round!!

I want to join it but I cant do the days they run plus I dont have my account running just now, been looking at the races for 2 months now looks really good.

Just need to remember to watch all the other races now.

I watched BSR's race at Bathurst a few weeks ago as my mate from college was racing in it. Good coverage might start doing Iracing because of it.

I think a few of us from the Forza world intend to do so.

Thanks for the extra info Matthew. I find it incredible how well put together those TORA broadcasts are, and especially considering they're console games. I feel lazy having the luxury of iRTVO and iRacing for broadcasting!

With regard to the Skip Barber series this week, I've made better progress than anticipated with the TV overlays, so I might give it a try this week as a dry run and see how it goes.

It's great that CQR will be joining the BTCC series by the way. We've provided a paint scheme as they're entering an entirely new team!

Yeah....the B team are ready to roll.....CQR Dogskii & myself (CQR Magictap) will be in CQR Fanta as the B Team!!!



HOWEVER! This is what we are up against!!!! Check out the awesomeness of Cheps rig...not to mention his speed!!!

Practice 6:30 pm GMT
Qualy 8:00 pm
Race 1 approx 8:45 pm followed by races 2 and 3

I'm in the CQR Fanta - Orange coloured car ;O)

Please don't laugh if I wreck...or worse still wreck someone else ;O( iRacing is hard!!!!

Good luck tonight guys!, try to keep it under control through turn 3. I always screw it up there. Even in FWD!

1st and 2nd races were terrible for me - so pits start for 3rd and ended up 14th ;o)

In a slight departure....they have every third week off BTCC i think.....sooooooo......this week a few of us are entering their WTCC ;O)

We will be in the Kia again but this time around Bathurst!!!!!! OMFG....carnage!! lol

Let's see whether Ash can make it round the warm up lap without crashing this time

ALSO...........and this cars on iRacing is the bomb........just request to join the league on iRacing forums and you can race it is as simple as that!

Would LOVE to join in but I work till 10 on Wednesdays and Thursdays
