Indeed you are, for some reason it's been renamed on the Entry list as "Mclaren MP4 GT3", and I wrote the Car count page to register a total of "McLaren MP4-12C GT3".
So updated, 8, 1 and 1.

"TBA" is just so I can get a true count of all cars, other than that, yea its beastly, may need a Power cap though.

I read yesterday in the rules there was a dropped round (Admittedly I can't find it now, assuming it's been removed?), so has this changed?

The series format and rules were given to us by its owner as was intended to be a TCR event, because it became popular extremely quickly myself and ShrinkingSteven discussed updating areas accordingly, mainly to make sure all aspects are covered and so there wouldn't be any misunderstanding later on when it starts.
One of the things we decided was because of the mix of circuits and the fact it is only a 6 week event, to keep it fun, fair end enjoyable we removed the drop-round rule.
I did post last night to say the Rulebook has been updated:
LMR Warspite wrote:Due to the popularity of this Event, We have elected to update the rules and the process descriptions accordingly, all drivers should already be familiar with these rules upon entering, however ALL drivers MUST read and understand the rules before the first race.
Thank You.

I thought sub drivers were not going to be used anymore after the drama last time?

Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
The original rules listed unlimited subs, now we've amended and updated them, we have allowed ONE sub per team/privateer.
It's fair to say people may miss a race for a certain reason, seeing as it spands over 3 months, so it's pretty fair from my perspective.

Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
So it's one sub per team not driver??
As in all 3 of our team may not be able to make the first race due to a clash but we can only have one sub??
Too many questions lol, just trying to get an plan together so we have the chance to do our best in both series we are currently in.

Yep one sub per team.
This event was initially for a bit of fun, an organised event but mainly jump in, drive something you didn't in 2013, and have a laugh, however because of the popularity and the high-profile drivers entering, it's become a bit more than that.
Hence the rule updates and improved definitions, trying to keep it somewhere inbetween a series for fun and something as serious as recent events like the ISCC or GT's.

Then surely a drop round makes more sense? I've never quite understood the point of a sub driver when it just so much easier for everyone if there is 1 drop round for both the teams & drivers championships

Car's are balanced for the whole series, if were a 7 or 8 round event would be understandable, but what we noticed is the possibility of a strategy which involves picking a car for the first 5 tracks and skipping the last to improve their overall score.
Besides it's only 6 weeks, not really much need for a drop round.

I understand where you're coming from & I agree mate, I can definitely see how a drop round can become more of an advantage then anything else but if somebody can only make 5 out of the 6 rounds I think they are more than deserving of a chance of finishing higher up. It's not that easy for most of us to just find a sub driver to race for one race, the majority of the people that want to race in this series are already signed up to it & if you're not in a team with a lot of drivers you're going to end up out of the running. Surely we want to reward drivers for making 5/6 races instead of punishing them for missing 1?

In the Teams championship only 2 drivers score towards it, in privateer's only one person scores, if they are unable to miss a race and are aware ahead of the next meeting, they can register a sub to continue carrying points for both those championships.
I understand where you are coming from trust me, but we took this series on with Sportsmanship as the key subject, not saying anyone is only doing it to win, but its something we want to run just as professionally as any other pitlane event, but one where people shouldn't need to get stressed if they fall behind.
I wasn't the only one to make this decision, three of us are organising this event and we all do things together, so I hope people don't feel like I'm out to get anyone.

Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
The rules were signed off by myself as its only a 6 round event I see no issue , any more disputing the rules and I will have to get all bernie ecclestone on everyones asses and introduce stupidness rules like double points for the last race of the season
Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
Ferrari's good round nurburgring, any chance you can make that happen?

Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
The rules are not being changed, 3 people including a staff member have agreed and supported the current format.
If you miss a race and can't find a sub, then sorry but you miss a race, everyone else still comes on and takes time out of their day to take part.

Ironic you say that and you changed it from a dropped round to no dropped rounds.

Not really, we as a group wanted to update the entire rulebook to keep in check with the popularity of the series, and ALL 3 of us wanted to remove the drop round.
As I said, you can still have a sub, I don't see what the issue is here imo.

Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
The dropped round is a crock anyway to many teams/drivers use this to get out of running there car at the so called weaker track and while its against no rules it is poor sportsmanship .
