A 2.12.3 In the falcon. Lost a bit time in the chase and last corner.

Personal best is a 2:09.481. I did the hotlapping in rivals. You really have to utilise fresh tyres, I kept dirtying the lap after brushing the walls & after 5 laps I couldn't go right to the limit any more, a few laps later & I was nearly a second a lap down because I had to lift off a bit more & brake earlier & had to pit for new rubber to go back on the limit again. The race should be good because tyre management & consistency will play such an important role. The physics blow FM4 out of the water.

Re: TORA Charity Event - 1000km of Bathurst - Lap Times
Ax4x International Autosport decided to switch to the Holden. So I did a 10 lap run in rivals today (as the servers were down yesterday ) & managed to clock a 2:08.210. A 2:07.9xx might be possible on the perfect lap, but come qualifying I'd be happy to be in the high 2:08s.

Good luck maintaining that pace through the race - them walls are DANGEROUS! It's so rewarding though when you get it just right and you sort of "dance" the car round the top of the mountain.

2.12.6 loads of places i could go faster but its getting the confidence to

Thanks to ErebusV8 for providing voice-over, here's a lap guide based on my testing run last night.
Re: TORA Charity Event - 1000km of Bathurst - Lap Times
thanks, the recording was softer at the start, and then after nearly 2 hours of trying and trying again my standards for the quality of voice over dropped as you can tell
Re: TORA Charity Event - 1000km of Bathurst - Lap Times
2.09.681 with a stock tune. Hopefully a bit of tweaking will see some more time come off.
Re: TORA Charity Event - 1000km of Bathurst - Lap Times
Are you guys running high mid or low aero on the cars
Re: TORA Charity Event - 1000km of Bathurst - Lap Times
I really struggle with these cars. Just don't get how people can be so quick in them! I drive one and it is constant oversteer!! lol

Mid at the moment (i.e. stock).
Re: TORA Charity Event - 1000km of Bathurst - Lap Times
Stock tune seems to work quite well round here. I can't tune so won't bother trying. Although I'd like to know what tyre pressure others are running?
