If anyone wants the Heart Foundation logo, go to "apply decal" in the paint screen, and go to community vinyls, then search for my gamertag.

Re: TORA Charity Event - 1000km of Bathurst - Media
question guys:
coming into the chase, are you guys using that thick strip of asphalt on the outside?
if you do, you can gain i think it's 0.3 of a second compared to a lap without it if you get the rest of the lap right too.
It opens up the corner, less tyre scrubbing, and ads a few km/h

What strip of asphalt on the outside? I keep the car to the right of the track, brake nice & early, turn it in & leather it through. Turns 3-10 are the most important part of the lap. And I've lost as much as 1 second by going into Forests Elbow a bit too deep.

Oh, no not really. This is about as close as I get. Getting that far over on the left would give no advantage on the game, probably because you can easily take that bit flat anyway.ErebusV8 wrote:on the outside of the chase
Although I do really push my luck on the tight walls at this track.

That moment when you give the team owner a heart attack.

The damage bill may kill you
I have a lot of control in the esses, in fact, it's probably the easiest & best part of the track. I do have trouble with turns 7, 8 & 9 in particular. If you leather it & get it right you can gain so much time, but getting it wrong can have pretty catastrophic consequences, if you turn in marginally too early, you collide with the inside wall which spits you off straight into the outside wall. If you turn in too late you can get away with touching the brakes, although you do lose a lot of momentum.

Sorry, I didn't get a chance to go online last night and re-upload the BHF logo. I definitely will do it after work today though.
