TORA Charity Event - 1000km Bathurst - Qualification Sessions

Hi guys

A big thank you for registering to race and supporting this charity event.  Below are times for qualifying sessions that I will be hosting.  There may be additional sessions depending on staff/host availability.  I will also try to arrange a couple of more "USA friendly" time slots, but until I confirm otherwise, ASSUME THAT THESE WILL BE THE ONLY SESSIONS.

All times in GMT

Monday 17th - 8pm, 10pm, 12am
Tuesday 18th - 12am
Wednesday 19th - 12am
Thursday 20th - 8pm, 10pm, 12am
Friday 21st - 8pm

You may only take part in one session for "Q1".  If you could please come online and join my party, and/or send me a message to get my attention, I will switch over to FM5 (if I'm not already there) and set up the session.


Friday 21st - 10pm is the time for the top 10 shootout.  Either driver from the top 10 cars can take part in this session.  This session will be live streamed.

Is it too late to ask to qualify in the 12am session tonight? It's not ideal but it looks like that will be the only chance I get...

F4H Krux for Die Soft Racing.

If no one can make that time to witness it then we're not gonna be able to qualify. I can't make any of the times and Krux just might be able to make the top 10 thing on Friday.

I'll be there don't worry.

@Aero - I know the plan was to not to publicise the qualification times until quali was over but I'm wondering whether it may be a good idea to post them today so that people have an idea whether they'll need to be available for the shootout tonight?!?

Assume you will judging by the practice times I saw you do. I'll post Q1 times after the 8pm session (about 8.30).

Results from Qualifying (Q1):




The Top Ten Shootout will be held at 22:00 GMT tonight.  You get 1 out lap, 1 flying lap and 1 in lap, that's it!!  Running order for this session is 10th through to 1st from Q1.

I will have an open party ready at 21:30.  If the drivers from each team who are taking part would care to join that party, you'll be able to get into the shootout lobby.  If you can't join for some reason, please send me a message to get my attention!

PROJECT D and Bratley Sport have unfortunately withdrawn from the race.  Ford Racing did not qualify in Q1, and will start 11th.
