Perry Speedway still running? When I was there it was a real cool throwback track. When in Alden, if I missed the Saturday night races at Lancaster, I sure could hear them from my yard.

As far as Kellys? No idea, but I sure got my fill of Gennys Cheers

yah Perry is still running...they turned it to asphalt and car count is low but they are still fighting to stay afloat.

trying to convince the owner's to convert back to dirt

I still drink some Genny cream ale when I want to get nostalgic lol

I saw that Roscoe. Sad to see it could go away. Back in the day, watching Hewitt and Evans and those mod guys get around that odd shaped 5/8 was awesome stuff. Shame to hear that so many of them lost their lives through the 1980s.

....mike no bs...Richie Evens and my grand father gave me my love of speed and competion...the race garage I grew up in had his "nascar...restricted personal only"
in his bootleg genesee county orange on the door going in was VERY INTIMIDATING to a 10year old lol

as you may or may not know doug Hewitt was his best friend and crew chief...now he is running joe gibbs racing
and Richie was the first non "Winston cup" driver to get in the nascar hall of fame...man those were some
