This has a certain level of LeMons/ChumpCar feel to it.

I was thinking of making a "disposable race car" rule which would not allow anyone to race the same car twice. Not sure if that would be too hard on anyone, but I think it would be a cool twist.

But, I want my Focus.

I like that idea

Great idea some diffrent. But what if I get attached to one car. Nah that will never happen.  

My thought is that in real life racing a cheap second hand econocar, you'd be lucky to get through a whole day of racing with the car intact, and have to build a new one for the next round.

I wish to thank AMR Garage for this series, as he handed me the carlist, build rules and schedule. I may tweak things here and there, but this is his doing.

If I do this I want to run my civic the entire season. I don't want to have to switch cars.

How about the option to switch cars after two rounds?

Yes, that is the plan. Classics wrap up on February 5, then a week off for Valentine's Day, then expect NAFF Car to start up on the 21st.

Sounds like a ton of fun!

Having tested all the cars in various builds on all the tracks on the schedule, I have found that each car is best suited to two circuits per. This means that while one car is a rocket at a couple tracks, it is likely to be average elsewhere.

That being said, since the "disposable racer" idea was rather balked at, I will take a drastic move in the opposite direction: NO car changes during the season.

Be sure to test the cars you favor at all the tracks, and choose wisely, as you will be bound to your choice for the duration.
