Moving Forward in 2014- Big News at Allied Forces
2014 is only young, but so far it has bought to us some fantastic racing both on and offline.
A great Daytona 24 Hours to kick off the USCR in the States, TORA Euro GT to kick off TORA racing in 2014 and the Bathurst 12 Hour in Australia to start the wheels turning down under for this year with Maranello Ferrari bringing home the silverware at the end of the 12 Hours. And that's where this kicks off.
As some of you may know, I have been running a replica of the Maranello Motorsports Ferrari in the European GT series:
and that is for good reason.
Over the past month and a half, I have been in contact with Maranello Motorsports to negotiate a possible partnership between Allied Forces and Maranello Motorsports. After the heat of battle last weekend at Bathurst, and they recovered from the celebrations, Peter Edwards, one of the MM drivers from Bathurst replied to my email.
I am now proud to announce that in 2014 Allied Forces will be partnering with Maranello Motorsports. Driving the Ferrari 458 in series it is available in, GT, ISCC, TEC in the Maranello paint.
"We don’t know too much about the online world, but it looks pretty exciting from what I can see and we cannot wait for the partnership between Maranello Motorsports and Allied Forces in 2014" Peter Edwards said.
It is fantastic to have them on board (and vice versa) in 2014 and we hope to bring success to the team throughout the year and hopefully in years to come
See you all on the track

I kid you not Bradley, I made that livery on a street Ferrari but with Super GT300 Number boards and I didn't even know that this was going on.
another reply from Peter,
Bradley,
Looks like a great outfit, and reading through some of your online forums, looks like a lot of fun. We’d love to be associated, happy to promote through our facebook pages, and whatever else seems relevant at the time. Let me know what you need from us, and just send me what is relevant regarding your logo, etc, race times, and any imagery that you feel is appropriate for us . We don’t really have any merch, but would be happy to organise something for the team.
All the best,
Peter
so that's awesome

I would like to thank Bradley for his hard work and to welcome Maranello Motorsports for their support of Allied Forces.
Great news, guess this settles our car choice then lol!
well done Bradley!
well done Bradley!
Very cool news guys! All the best with Maranello for 2014!
hey, no need to thank me Chaddy, I thought it'd be good for the team haha,
and I hope to get them signed up and hopefully race every now and then
get Bowe in the Ferrari for TEC, there's your challenge Haydon

Wow - more "real teams" on the track - this is going to be an epic season!!
I emailed Peter back asking whether they'd be able to sign up and possible do a few races with us, but I understand that their racing schedule is pretty full on, especially september-october (sandown 500, Bathurst 1000, Gold Coast 600) when they could both be in V8SC as well as the Carerra Cup and AGT AND TCM so yeah, Hope they can race because racing along side John Bowe, even in a video game, has been something I've wanted to do for a while
and best part is, I can go to one of the Maranello Motorsport track days for not a lot of money and I can drive round a track really quick in an F430 or 458 Challenge car with them giving me driving tips to improve my time!
quite a few of the drivers in the AGT and V8SC went through the Maranello Motorsport racing school
ok I'm gonna stop I'm just so excited

Awesome work dude, another RL competitor getting involved with the teams here is an epic feat, proud of you man! And I wish a great season for the Ax4x team.
Congrats! This is brilliant news and further validates what we do as a community.
So... Aston Martin, Corvette, SRT and now Ferrari. Who's next?
