Allied Forces

Being somehow involved in racing for longer than I can remember, I have learned a few things along the way. Much of what I knew about racers 25 years ago still applies in virtual racing...

We all race because we have one thing in common: our love of motorsport and passion for cars. While we may have some heated rivalries, at TORA or elsewhere, between ourselves and members of other teams, our rivals are usually good guys away from racing. If you were to meet any one of them outside of racing, and discuss your passion for the sport with them, you'd probably be fast friends.

Allied Forces began in April of 2013 as a ragtag crew of independents, but have grown into a tight knit clan of TORA racers and public lobby regulars. We race primarily here on TORA, but also compete at VM, FLMS, XPLR, SORA and are open to racing anywhere in the wide world of Forza, and plans are in place for some Club Racing on the Ax4x homesite.

Our main objectives are Honor, Integrity, Teamwork, Sportsmanship, Fair Play, and most of all Fun. Wins are great, but we aren't a "win at all costs" clan.

2015 saw a successful season here at TORA, with Ax4x Drivers seeing race wins and podiums leading to a few top tier finishes in both team and driver championships...

As of a few hours ago, long serving Allied Forces driver, DeweyTee passed away after a long and difficult battle with cancer.

Although he had not raced with us for many months, Dewey was still an integral part of the Allied Forces roster and will remain to be so for a very long time.

For those of you who don't know him, DeweyTee was one of Allied Forces original members way back when the team started in 2012.

We will miss him very dearly and our thoughts and wishes are forwarded to his family and hope they are ok in the following months as we mourn shoulder to...

There have been two big things happening in Allied Forces this last week and a half, so I thought it was due time for an update.

Firstly, a long time friend of a lot of the Allied Forces drivers, BIGBEN0913 has joined our ranks (finally). Ben is a great driver, displaying unsurpassed commitment and reliability as well as a great door to door competitive driver. Why do we need a team Twitch and Spreaker channel you might ask? Well, in all matters, we don't need one, but we want to bring you, and all the virtual racing fans out there, an Allied Forces view of the racing we take part in.

2014 is only young, but so far it has bought to us some fantastic racing both on and offline.
A great Daytona 24 Hours to kick off the USCR in the States, TORA Euro GT to kick off TORA racing in 2014 and the Bathurst 12 Hour in Australia to start the wheels turning down under for this year with Maranello Ferrari bringing home the silverware at the end of the 12 Hours. Hello TORA,
It's March and we all know what that means, TORA TEC starts in 3 weeks! and I know that like many others, I cannot wait for the season opener!
It also means that the Worlds Greatest Shave is in 2 weeks, and like many, I have registered to shave my head for the first time to raise money and awareness for the Leukaemia Foundation.

I've had ago at making us 'our own space'  

With just a few short weeks, we need to get our cars and driver line-ups sorted for the Community Team TEC 10H of Road America. I know we could just go with the same line ups we had for LeMans, but I am trying to gauge interest to see if we need to add (yet) another car to the squad come registration day.

I will provide tunes for any Ax4x member in need of tuning help. Most of the time you guys are stick with whatever my tuning ability (disability  ) can throw together, but there are some times when I can score an excellent tune from an ultraskilled friend.

If you ever need some help just ask me or any Ax4x teammate.  

I want to congratulate VAMR Wilson on taking the pole and win today in the TCR Seat Leon Supercup race at the Bernese Alps Stadplatz track. Glad to have you here at Allied Forces with all of us.
