Hot lapping a Ferrari 458 and other cars

I did the Xtreme Xperience's exotic super car driving experience Saturday at Harris Hills raceway in San Marcos. Here’s some pics and a video.

This video is from my 2nd of 3 turns in the Ferrari 458. I'm following the lead car which has a Pro driver. He was in a very fast Mustang and was great to follow to learn the track. I had to back off at times since I was able to catch him at will and had to keep a safe distance. The 458 is an amazing car to drive and could be pushed very hard without any issues. With the huge ceramic brakes I could pretty much brake as late as I wanted too. We had to use the auto trans settings, no changing gears manually with the paddle shifters. The car was set for sport mode, I would have liked to try the race mode settings. The 3rd time I ran the Ferrari I was pushing the lead car so much he went off track once trying to stay ahead. The sound quality is not that good since the windows were down, but if you listen you’ll be able to hear the Ferrari occasionally when it gets into the high revs.

Also got to drive the 2014 C7 Corvette, Nissan GT-R and Porsche 911 Turbo. I only did 3 laps in each of these and never got the chance to push them as hard as the Ferrari.
