Xbox Capture Cards and Video Editing
Hi Guys
Wondered if i could get your opinions on the Hauppauge HDPVR2 Capture Card? Is it good, anything to recommend about it, accessories I should need? I have an Acer Aspire laptop, 1gb RAM 160gb HDD AMD V105 Processor (1.2ghz) CPU, will this be suitable for editing and uploading to Youtube?
Cheers

I have the PVR 2 and it's a great peice of kit. However I'm not sure about those specs. The software will take a huge toll on the graphics and CPU when you're recording, but I reckon it should be fine with that.
This is the software that comes with it, supposedly.

I use After Effects, which is good if you know what you're doing... (hint: if you haven't used it before, you won't).
When we were doing the Motors TV vids, Jamie used a program called VideoPad to do the final cut. Very simple and easy to use.
