Long story short, I tried to fix a security issue with my login to live. Instead of just deleting the profile and re downloading it, my finger slipped and all of my saved data went poof.
Yes, this sucks. Yes, I am furious and am about to cry. I'll be in the process of recovering all of my data for Forza 4 and whatever liveries and vinyls I can re obtain by the date of the tournament.

If you lost all your money I'll be willing to give you 8,000,000cr or so

Re: The 2014 Evo vs Sti one nighter event hosted by Zeta0085 (Series is over.)
Roster updated.
Small update in regards to my progress; most of the Vinyls I run for Reisen Racing have been reobtained minus the lovely mascot I made which I am not sure if remaking is a viable option.
I have the evos and stis along with their discounts, slowly working my way up to afford an R2 for more money payouts.
And it would feel odd to take credits from someone = /

Don't feel weird about taking credits, that's what friends are for. I am sitting on so much that I'd gladly offer you 20 million.

Would strongly recommend removing the non tuning bit. I've tried it before and is impossible to police. Even to the point of spec cup competitors being being asked to leave the series for supercharge glitches.
Insist on sport suspension to stop the majority of tuning.
Your comment regarding watching the telemetry is incorrect. With no anti roll bars a car will handle and appear completely differently compared to one with race roll.
Same with the weight of the car.

Roster has been updated, once again.
sent a pm to Tubbi, will make a change in regards to the no tuning rule afterwards.
Eh.. if folks don't mind gifting a car they don't need I'll take that instead of the money.

Hi folks, there is talks about the tuning situation and possibly lifting the rule. Catch is there would be limitations on what parts are allowed including a change in P.I
More to come in the next day or two.

Re: The 2014 Evo vs Sti one nighter event hosted by Zeta0085 (Series is over.)
So.. after some thinking and talking around with friends, I'm at a crossroad with the tune/no tune deal. I'm curious on what entrants feel about the matter;
- If we allow some tuning, this will force no higher than sports upgrades on some parts and restrict the P.I system to around 530 - 580. This also means more work and focus on finding an ideal build for all seven tracks just for a one nighter event. As most of the TORA community participates in other events, I'd hate for folks to spend time on something that isn't a weekly series. That and trying to find someone who is willing to make equal tunes for ALL of the cars for everyone to use.
- If we follow the original rule of 600 P.I and attempt the no tune rule, I take a risk and put my trust in folks that they won't cheat. This allows more flexibility in upgrades for everyone with of course time spent testing the cars out. Although if entrants do cheat with tunes from the storefront or one they did themselves and it's noticeable by everyone involved, I have no qualms with including a rule that deducts 2 points per race this happens. And having a total of 14 points deducted can hurt. That, or be made to leave the event.
- Another alternative is to limit a couple of parts and allow whatever else to be used.
I try to make my yearly events fun and less stressful for those involved. So far no one has complained when I've done my evo vs sti and DTM one nighter events for the past four years. Plus, the series gains the chance of being recorded and spiced up dependent upon who shows.
In the end, it is my event and I want to hear how you guys feel on the matter. And if some folks wish to opt of this series, I won't stop you. We have plenty of time until July rolls around.

Keep it as it is. If someone decides to tune, shame on them for taking this too seriously.

Re: The 2014 Evo vs Sti one nighter event hosted by Zeta0085 (Series is over.)
thread bump.
I'll wait another week to see if anyone else has their say in the matter.
The few that have contacted me, are leaning towards to what was originally planned.

Either way it should still be fun.
The original plan of running at A:600 without tuning keeps it simple for everyone though. And, if someone wants to spend weeks tuning a car for a fun one night event, that is their problem.

Re: The 2014 Evo vs Sti one nighter event hosted by Zeta0085 (Series is over.)
Results are in after waiting a week
Based on 11 entrants (excluding my vote);
Four would like the event to stay as it is. One would like some tuning, and another suggests to limit the amount of parts to prevent tuning.
we are running the event as it was originally intended to be. Thanks for the replies everyone and see you on the 7th
