Pepsi Max Cup Series...Gauging Interest (NASCAR 14)

I am trying to Gauge Interest on if anyone would be willing to run a NASCAR 14 Series on Monday Nights at 8pm EST.

**THE GAME IS REGION LOCKED TO US AND CANADA ONLY**

I wish that I could say that the series is open to everyone but because Eutechnyx has the game region locked to only North America (US and Canada) that I can only open it to US and Canada Residents only.


Here is a Basic rundown of the rules

Race Distance is 50%.  Lobby is set to 100% to allow for Green White Checkered Finishes.
Non-Points Events are 20-30%
Race MUST Finish under the Green Flag.  Which Means that there are unlimited attempts at a Green White Checkered Finish even if the leader takes the white flag.
Race Setups are OFF.  (Meaning NO Custom Setups only In Race Adjustments)
All Assist are forced OFF
Tandem Drafting is BANNED at Daytona and Talladega.
2 or more cars must be involved in a wreck for there to be a caution.  Those involved in the caution must drop to the rear of the field BEFORE the Restart.  Failure to do so will result in a pass through penalty Under Green.
Black Flags are on, Cautions are off.
Fuel and Tire Wear is on x2 for all tracks
Damage is OFF

Car Choice is on a First Come First Serve Basis.  I already have people outside of TORA wanting to join this series.  Once the Green Flag Falls at Daytona for the first Race there are no more changes in your car allowed until Car Selection for the next season.

The Schedule will Follow the Actual Cup Series Schedule after the Daytona 250 Season opener and will run some added on Races at the end of the season to allow for more racing and a shorter off season.  Season 3 will start in February of 2015 the Monday after the Daytona 500.

There are also NO Custom Teams.  Meaning that whoever is in the Team Cars on the Game are your teammates.  You Could literally have teammates that you do not know how well they will do.  (An Example is if LMR wanted to team up as Teammates and wanted Deftone in the 2 of Keslowski, Mario in the 6 of Bayne, Bandit in the 12 of Harraka and another LMR Member in the 38 of Gilliland and wanted to be called Le Mans Rennsport it would not be an actual listed team.  They would be FORD Factory Teammates but not Team Teammates.  All 4 Drivers would have to be in the 6, 16, 17 and 99 for the team to work.)

I probably would join, but I don't have much money to buy the game and I'm afraid that the gameplay is going to be a disaster like 13.

Been eying this game for a long while, perhaps another time.. Hope you get a big showing for this.

There is a lot of fixed issues when you compare it to Inside Line.  The Bubble is still there, but a lot of the problems have been fixed.  I would definitely get it.  I already have, Myself, rolltide, Buster (who is part time), 2-3 guys from another league and ABEnstien, and you would make 8.

thats the 360 for you Bradley. PS3's (and all sony gaming devices) are all region-free. i even have JPN release games for my PS Vita... unfortunately i dunno how to read japanese, and just guessing at the text.

this sounds interesting. i might make a stop on my way home to 'try' the game out before making a decision to join in Windcharger

In order of preference: 78, 1, 42, any Chevrolet.

Is there a demo for this game?

I don't think there is a Demo Brandon.  You might have to rely on a friend who has the game to try it out or rent it.

ABE - Faceless has messaged me back but its a voice Message that I cannot check on my PC.  I will get back to you on Thursday or Friday on his Car Choice.  Right now I have you in the 78 unless Faceless wants to drive the 88.

Also I am working on a .wix site for the series.  Once I have everything on it and I am satisfied on how it looks and feels I will link it here.

Races are now Friday Nights.  Series Starts Wednesday July 16th with Qualifying and the Budweiser Duels.  July 18th is the Daytona 250

It's a bummer when you told me custom cars don't show in multiplayer lobbies.

Call it silly, that kinda turned me off from considering this a purchase. Anyways, nice roster of entrants for your series!

I still have room for around 8-9 more drivers for season 2.

18 is now taken, two other drivers outside of TORA need to submit driver apps before the 16th.

You have to buy your own disk, though.

Remember the Series Starts tomorrow with Qualifying and the Budweiser Duels for Friday's Season opener the Daytona 250. 9 drivers are on the Entry List and due to the rules 1 will go home. 3 Drivers are locked in (Myself, Buster and rolltide) and the front row will be locked into the field. so we may have 4 drivers fighting for 3 spots.

Registration for the Series will close at 6PM EST tomorrow and will re-open after the duel. (Note that if you register after the duel you cannot race the 250, your first race will be next week at Indianapolis)
