8/8/14 Ax4x TCC Circle Cup

This coming Friday, we at Allied Forces are hosting the TCC Circle Cup, a series of oval track races using TORA's iconic TCC/NATCC cars and builds.

This one-off, for fun, event is bound to see loads of three wide racing, with some bump drafting from time to time, and will visit a slew of FM4's oval circuits.

The only current thing is "time". We would normally run such an event at 8PM BST, but to not conflict with the TCR Demolition Derby series for GRID, we're looking at or 10PM.

I'm in. Why not wait until after the Demo Derby wraps up? Next Friday is the final race.

There's something big in the works that will start after the final Demolition Derby round.

The Circle Cup is just a one off event, not meant to be taken too seriously. Seems that this week's Demo Derby rounds lasted about an hour? So I could just run the Circle Cup races after that, maybe 10:30 BST/5:30 EDT.

10.30 BST sounds good maybe sleeping beauty can make it.

I prefer 7.30 pm BST otherwise it will be nightwork for us

Its not that bad, as it should be over by 11:30PM, and its on a Friday. Heck, its 12Midnight here, just got done with work an hour ago, and have to repeat the cycle at 6AM tomorrow.

When I wanted to host some 7PM BST races earlier this year, lots of Europeans said that was too early for them.

Oh well, I guess its true that nobody can make everybody happy.   

Hoping we have enough people show up to have some serious fun.

No entry thread, no numberboxes needed. Just show up with a legal car and race for the fun of it..

How did the races go last Friday? Did yoy guys had fun??

There was some fun at times, but this experiment is something I doubt will be repeated. Pace-wise, the cars were actually pretty good, but nowhere near balanced for many of the tracks.

My Soobie was good at Motegi, Sedona, and had pace at Indy, but it was awful at Sunset.
